I am still alive, here in Canberra, Australia. I have so far avoided dropbears.
Nothing much has happened, except I more or less came out to my current group of acquaintances here. As you can see from the fact that I have not been stoned alive, they have no problem with my homosexuality. I suppose the heeled boots were a big hint.

She is fairly cool when not being a Yoruichi fangirl. Props for ruthlessly making the decision to cut off her own arm when Baraggan was disintegrating it. I think I resemble her to some extent. Chinese, short black hair, no chest (ha ha ha), fuck-off expression. I could probably cosplay her if I padded my chest a bit.

Black and gold because of her shikai. I am obsessed with black and gold. I want her Zanpakuto.

Haven't posted anything real for a very long time. I cleaned out and shifted the iScribble Saturday posts to another LJ.
A lot has happened, so I guess I should put it in a List.
1. Education - Have finished 3 years for my Diploma in Psychology. Have been accepted in Australian National University for Bachelor of Science (Psychology)! Will be moving to Australia end July. I can't wait.
2. Relationship - Lol, finally something after what... 3-4 years? I found someone. Older than me in some ways, and about right in others. Similar yet opposite in many ways, yin and yang. Demon has his angel, dragon has his phoenix, Red has his Blue. Happier than I have ever been in a very, very long time. Extremely sweet, analyses everything, writes me poetry. Creative, talented, intelligent. Finally, I have found an equal. Oh, and the most adorable thing ever. :P I'm so lucky. Except one thing...
... the fucking Pacific ocean! *makes grabby hands* Stop being so far away. ;A;
3. Health - Still alive. I actually exercise regularly now. I run almost every day, and eat properly, and I have lost weight. I think my ass is smaller now though - some of my shorts keep falling off my ass. A tooth of mine has decided to stray out of line and I now have a medieval metal torture cage of the front bottom 6 teeth forcing them back in place. Right now I am overcome with the urge to bite things because my teeth ache. Oh, and I quit drinking and smoking. Cold turkey. No side effects at all. Yeah, I know, I must be insane.
4. Art - I draw chibi real good now! Lol, I kid. But I've gotten quite good over 2010. I did a Chibi A Day Challenge and drew 1 chibi for every day of the month of March. 31 chibis! You can find all of them here. Unfortunately.... I haven't written anything. OTL I guess it'll come back someday.
That's all I can think of right now.

| Hakama Advice |

My mother just bought me this pair of black pants that are pretty much a hakama, except the material is thinner (it's 35+ deg. Celsius here, thank fuck for this). I wore them today for the first time, and I wore them with my Bleach captain haori tshirt! I was BAMF seriously. Sorry no pictures, I forgot to bring my phone like the forgetful person I am.
I've never worn anything like this before and I said I'd let people know how wearing a hakama goes, so here are some things I learned.
This is a hakama, by the way:
Things NOT to do in a hakama:
1. Wear flip flops. Gets caught in between foot and slipper and next thing you know you will faceplant (I didn't but it was close). Maybe if it was geta (wooden sandals) it might work out. Maybe this is why Urahara wears them. Must get me some.
2. Run, unless hakama is hitched up or short enough. You will trip over the excess material and faceplant.
3. Go into a wet toilet. Hakama trailing in piss/water/godknowswhatOMGGROSSACK = DNW.
Things you SHOULD do in a hakama:
1. Do the Hammer dance. Hakamas are perfect for this, baggy as they are. I did this after class. It was so much win.
2. Twirl. It's also fun. Especially to Bollywood.
3. Practice roundhouse kicking.
4. Anything that allows freedom of movement, really.
