I love Screencap Paradise and I'm so proud of it ♥ I can't believe it's been around for so long, in a way it feels like we only just started it, but on the other hand it feels like it was always there.... I read this book ages ago, in high school and have since re-read it in English as well as in Danish. It made a huge impact on the back then and I think everyone should read it, it's excellent.

Synopsis:
Fifteen, white, middle-class, Alice seems to be fine. She is doing well at school. She thinks someday she'd like to get married and raise a family. On July 9th, Alice is turned on to acid. She figures life is more bearable with drugs than without. Alice's life is never the same again.

Her parents notice changes, but they don't know what's happening.
They can't help her. The difference between Alice and a lot of other kids on drugs is that Alice kept a diary...

The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith

I also read these books (the first two) ages ago, in high school, when I was around 13/14. I've just re-read them and while they're extremely easy reads, I find them excellent at the same time. I'm afraid I've become ~~slightly~~ crazily obsessed with them!!!!

Synopsis
Elena is the queen of High School. After the death of her parents and summer abroad, she returns to her senior year – and there’s a distractingly good looking new student, Stefan. Elena wants him, and everybody wants Elena – except Stefan.
Well, turns out Stefan is a vampire, has a very problematic brother – Damon – who he hates (and vice versa) and something dark’s threatening the town of Fell’s Church. Only Elena, caught between the two brothers, and her friends can put a stop to it.

(adding the following because I find it hilarious - and it's also very true):
Stephenie Meyer seems to have heavily borrowed from L. J. Smith. The first half of the first book is “why doesn’t he look at me – why does she smell so good – I need to have him – I need to eat her” etc. etc. Except that this time it was European History instead of Biology Class. Then the books go in different directions with the most notable distinction of the Vampire Diaries having an actual plot.

Muahahahahaa!!
They're definitely worth a read, especially if you're planning on watching the CW show that starts in just over a week!

And if you're in a Jasper/Bella fanfic kind of mood, there's always And So It Goes by the fantastic laceandgrace!

Friends Cut!

Ok, so I've decided to do this even though I always thought I never would. I've always posted most of my entries in a private/filtered group anyway, and I will keep doing that despite this.

So basically, what I am saying is - if you'd like to be included in this group, and for some reason think that you won't automatically be, then drop me a comment and I'll include you. With fear of sounding a bit full of myself (I really don't mean it that way), I feel like there's people on my flist that I don't really know or that I don't know any more/have grown apart from/don't have anything in common anymore. I am sure these people feel the same way and the reason we're still even friended is because we're holding on to those old bonds but really, we're just cluttering up each other's flists. Hey, I could be wrong in which case, I am sorry for being a bitch and so blunt about this. But the truth of the matter is, I'd like to actually know who my friends are, who cares about me and my weird little life - and it's nothing to do with comments really. I'm not the best commenter either - it's about who wants to read my entries and who usually just scrolls past them... and vice versa, I guess.

So I'm gonna strip my filter and re-add people. I have so much love for everyone on my friends list, old and new additions, but I feel like I need to do this. For my sanity. And of fear of repeating myself, because I want to know who reads my entries.
Anyone who I am just getting to know, I'd love to keep you but I would like to know if you feel the same way :)

Um.. ok, so everyone who commented on my last entry, you don't really need to comment again, (unless of course you want to give me some extra lovin'), none of you were even considered getting cut, I swear you all rock my world <3

It's nothing special but I had to make something!!!
It's probably not my usual style (as Dane pointed out when he saw it) but I wanted to try something different anyway. Edwards skin color was better in my original, before I started putting on textures but oh well... I kinda like how it turned out in the end anyway.

Together they will provide the users with HQ captures and HQ still images and complement each other in ways no other image archives has ever done before. As a decision pretty as a PICTURE will be moving all their Ats, Btvs and SPN captures over to Screencap Paradise and in return Firefly will move to Pretty as a PICTURE.
