001 - Video
[Hello, fellow Sinnoh-vians. There is now a man staring at the camera with vivid blue eyes. At first glance, he seems relatively ordinary. He's dressed in pretty simple clothes, and he has no wild haircut or cool markings or anything. He really looks like the kind of guy you could bump into on the street and forget about later.]
[But when he speaks, there's something behind his calm tone that seems to suggest otherwise. Whoever this man is, he seems to know more than he appears to let on.]
Why do you believe you are here?
[He smiles slightly, reaching down to pet the Natu that is sitting in his lap.] I've met many people who think very different things about the nature of fate. Some say everything that happens is a coincidence. Some say that destiny is written out for us like a story in a book, and we can do nothing to change it. And yet others say that yes, we all have destinies, but we can make choices that effect our future for the worse or for the better.
Were you brought here by accident? Were you chosen? Or is this just a result of some choice you made down the line? It could be any of those, or none at all. Did something say that you needed the Pokemon? Or did the Pokemon need you?
[He cocks his head like a curious bird, his benevolent smile still staying on his face, unchanging. The Natu chirps happily.]
