What is Money Skills
Our new programme is designed to give children, from EYFS to Year 6, the knowledge, skills and experiences that enable them to manage their own money in the future.
Research has shown that experiences with parents and conversations about money in the home shape children’s money habits. Learning about money is a perfect opportunity for partnership between schools and parents.
How it works for a parent
Your child’s teacher will set a topic with ideas for activities to do together or conversations to have about money. This could be anything from setting up a play shop to working out the cost of a picnic!
