Task History

Task history allows you to see changes made to tasks and when the change occurred for increased visibility. 

Task history is only available on Business and above, learn more.

Accessing Task History

You can view task history by right-clicking on the corresponding cell in the Gantt or sheet view. You can also click on the expanded task view on the board, list and calendar. To locate a specific task, you can search for a task or use the filters.

 

 

Tracked Changes

Here's a list of the changes that are tracked on a task level:

  • Task created

  • Assignee added or deleted

  • Tag added or deleted

  • File added, deleted or downloaded

  • Subtask added or deleted

  • Links added or deleted

  • Milestone added or deleted

  • Task name changed

  • Task description changed

  • Planned start date changed

  • Task description changed

  • Planned start date changed

  • Planned finish date changed

  • Project changed (moved from project to project, non-project task to a project or project to non-project task)

  • Progress updated

  • Priority updated

  • Comment updated

  • Actual cost updated

  • Planned cost updated

  • Actual or planned hours updated

  • Actual start or finish date updated
