The roadmap displays all accessible projects on a familiar Gantt view. On the left is a data grid for each project and on the right is a visualization of each project's timeline.
- Show or hide columns on the data grid such as planned vs. actual data, duration, milestones, tags, WBS and more
- Adjust the timeline date range to determine the date range that appears on the Gantt
- Filter projects by group, status, priority, manager, people or customer
As changes are made to each project, they are reflected in the roadmap in real time.

How to Access the Roadmap View
To access the roadmap, click on "Portfolio" on the left-hand menu. Business and Enterprise customers will see the roadmap icon on the far right of the top menu.

Viewing Summary Tasks and Sub-Tasks
By default, all of your accessible projects will be visible on the roadmap view but you can easily filter the project list so you can see projects that matter to you.
Click the small plus button next to a project to drill down into specific summary tasks and subtasks. This may be helpful if your projects are repeatable and you want to compare progress over a phase across your portfolio.

Customizing Columns on the Data Graph
Similar to the Gantt project view, you'll see the data graph on the left and the Gantt on the right. Choose the columns you'd like to see displayed by clicking the columns button.

Using Filters for Program Management and More
A filter button in the top right helps further customize your view. Filter by group, status, priority, manager, people or customer. This allows you to focus on specific programs, projects for certain customers and more.

Note: The Roadmap is only available on Business and above.

Here's What Each Menu Icon Represents
You will also see view project, print, settings and dates buttons in the top left of the page.
View Project
![]()
The view project button takes you back to a project for easy updates. Select the project you want to update and click the view project icon, which is the folder with the magnifying glass. You will be taken back to the Gantt page so you can make updates.
![]()
You can print the roadmap here. We recommend selecting landscape and fit to actual size. If your portfolio of projects is lengthy, only print the timeframe you need for the best results.
Columns
![]()
Just like the Gantt, you can turn off or on columns. You won’t be able to see custom columns on the project level here. On the roadmap view, you’ll see a column called project status. This refers to open, closed, not started, deleted, on hold or custom project status.
Settings
![]()
Here, you can make adjustments to the Gantt display on the roadmap. Select or de-select the boxes to display (or hide) task percent complete and assignee name. You can also decide whether to display the projects' planned, actual, or baseline dates.
Calendar

The calendar icon allows you to change the date range displayed and the time scale. You will notice that the data will be rolled up into the summary level unless you drill down by clicking the plus button next to a project.
Filter
![]()
You can filter by project group, project status, project priority, project manager, person or customer. Project status, project priority and customer can be edited in the project settings. The project group can be edited under overview > projects.
