FOCUS Training and Certification
FOCUS, the FinOps Open Cost & Usage Specification, is an open-source project that aims to provide clear guidelines for cloud service providers and vendors to generate FinOps-serviceable datasets. The specification enables FinOps practitioners to perform common FinOps activities such as chargeback, cost allocation, budgeting, and forecasting with a single set of instructions, no matter the origin of the dataset. Implementing a standard for cloud billing data removes some complexity from FinOps Practitioners’ workflows and improves how they report the value of cloud back to the business.
