Elizabeth Dickson has a CV that reflects the quality of her output, which is outstanding and erudite. She is also very prolific, and does the leg-work on her subjects to back up any assertions made. What journalism used to be until the legacy media became establishment puppets.
This is mostly an ode to sketching; quick pen sketches from life in snatches of time between moments of mothering.
I don't know much at all about art, and Jenn clearly does. But she also writes in such an immediately engaging and natural manner, that the mixture of sketches - verbal and pictorial both - are an unalloyed joy with a cup of tea and a deep chair.
