25 Days of MRC - Day 11

25 Days of MCR Meme

<strike>Day 1- Favorite song off of Bullets
Day 2- Favorite song off of Three Cheers:
Day 3- Favorite song off of The Black Parade
Day 4- Favorite song off of Danger Days
Day 5- Favorite MCR music video
Day 6- Favorite MCR song not on an album
Day 7- Favorite Life On The Murder Scene moment
Day 8- Favorite moment from The Black Parade Is Dead!
Day 9- A MCR song that instantly makes you smile
Day 10- A MCR song that reminds you of someone</strike>

Day 11- A MCR song that you listen to when you're sad

I don't particularily listen to music when I'm sad (more when I'm angry or need to be hyped). There are some incredibly sad or depressing songs when it comes to MCR (Cancer comes to mind), but I really tend not to listen to them so much, especially not when I'm sad.

Seriously, if you want to get into a funk, then just listen to all of "The Black Parade" from beginning to end. As much as I love this record, it's probably enough to make everyone kind of down, even though the last two songs are maybe uplifting or rather absurdly funny (Blood).

Anyway, if you're sad, I'd recommend listening to "Danger Days" from beginning to end. Best watch the awesome video of "Na Na Na"!!! Makes me feel good every time!

<lj-embed id="34" />

Day 12- A MCR song that makes you want to smash someones face
Day 13- A MCR song that means a lot to you
Day 14- A MCR song you think should be made into a music video
Day 15- Your favorite quote from any MCR band member
Day 16- Your favorite line from any MCR song
Day 17- A MCR song that makes you laugh
Day 18- A MCR song that encourages you to seek revenge
Day 20- A clip of the drummer you wish would have never left
Day 21- Your favorite Gerard and Bert moment
Day 22- Your favorite MCR era
Day 23- The first MCR song you ever heard
Day 24- A MCR song

Back from NY

We're back from New York! We had a wonderful time, despite landing in the middle of the fucking snowstorm last Saturday night at Newark airport and having to wait in the fucking plane for over an hour to get a parking position. And then finding out our shuttle to NY didn't leave until another hour and a half (or possibly more) because of the snow. It was fucking 11.45 p.m. at this point, which also means like 6.a.m in our time. We caught the most horrific cab ride with a couple of New Yorkers - the cab driver was a complete asshole and we kind of had to fight with him so he would let us out at two stops on the upper west side (only 10 blocks or so apart, mind).

Our hotel was okay - there was Starbucks in the house so we had Starbucks coffee + oatmeal for breakfast almost every morning. We even woke to the smell of freshly ground and brewed coffee (shared ventilation shaft running by our room ;-)). We saw a lot of things - just walked an awful lot of the time through most of the areas, Time Square, Flatiron District, Greenwich Village, Chinatown, Soho, Tribeca, Lower Manhattan, etc... We were at the Village Halloween Parade. We had awesome food (very touristy and very American, Burgers at ShakeShack in Madison Square Park, hotdogs at Gray's Papaya, soul food in Harlem) and some less awesome food (at the airport, in a rather expensive place near the opera). We took the Staten Island Ferry to glance at Lower Manhattan, the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge, we walked around Battery Park and up to Pier 17, we passed by Occupy WallStreet, we crossed the Central Park four times, we were at the Guggenheim, the Met and the Museum of Natural History (where we were reminded that Dinosaurs are great fun no matter what's your age!). We went to Forbidden Planet (where they had no tote bag for me!!! *whine*) AND two Midtown Comic stores. We trolled through bookstores and then bought stuff at Century 21.

And now my fucking suitcase is missing and I'm worried, because all my favorite clothes are in there! Keep your fingers crossed for them to find it!

Yeah, that was it in short.

Maybe more when I'm a bit more energetic.

I-Tunes Festival help???

Hello, fellow UK friends!

For those of you who are not My Chem fans, would you enter in a I-Tunes Festival ticket competition for me?

You just have to chose the 9th of July, and My Chemical Romance, and then name and email adresse, nothing more, but you have to be a UK resident, and I'm not.

http://www.itunesfestival.com/gb/lineup

Pwetty please? My girlfriend and I are in the UK on the 9th, and if I win, I would totally consider driving up to London again for a night.

The Supernatural Wiki has been nominated for the SFX Blog Awards alongside such giants as One Ring Net and The Leaky Cauldron!

Please vote for the Supernatural Wiki here.

I haven't been involved in the Wiki for a long while now, but it's in such capable hands and it's thriving like whoa! I feel like a proud mother hen whose kid ran off to do things on its own and do it great!!
