No. In the landmark Selvi v. State of Karnataka case, the Supreme Court ruled that forcibly subjecting an accused to narco-analysis, brain-mapping, or polygraph tests violates Article 20(3) of the Constitution (protection against self-incrimination) and Article 21 (right to privacy). These tests require the subject's explicit, informed consent.
