If an elected Bar Council member resigns or is removed, their seat becomes vacant. The Bar Council then follows its rules to fill that vacancy. In most cases, the next eligible candidate from the previous election list may be considered, or a fresh election may be held if required. Until the seat is filled, the Council continues working with the remaining members, so its functions do not stop. This process ensures continuity, fairness, and proper representation of advocates in Bar Council decisions.
