There is no maximum age limit for appearing in the AIBE. This means a person of any age can take the exam as long as they have completed LL.B. and are enrolled with a State Bar Council. The Bar Council of India believes that the legal profession welcomes people from all stages of life, whether young or old. Many people start law later in life or return to the field after a break, and AIBE supports this by not putting any age restrictions.
Even if someone is above 40, 50, 60, or more, they can still write AIBE and get their Certificate of Practice. The focus is only on eligibility, not age. This makes the exam fair and open to everyone who wants to practice law in India. So, anyone with the required qualifications can attempt AIBE without worrying about age limits.
