Can advocates strike or boycott courts?

No, advocates are not allowed to strike or boycott courts. The Supreme Court of India has clearly said that lawyers must not stop court work because it harms clients and delays justice. If lawyers have any issues, they should raise them through legal and peaceful methods, not by stopping court duties. Participating in strikes can even lead to disciplinary action by Bar Councils. In simple words, lawyers must work for justice, not stop it.
