An affidavit is a written statement of facts that a person makes under oath, declaring that everything written in it is true to the best of their knowledge. It is used as evidence in courts or legal matters.
How is it drafted:-
1.Start with a title (e.g., Affidavit) and court details.
2.Mention the name, age, address of the person (deponent).
3.Write facts in numbered paragraphs, clearly and truthfully.
4.Add a line stating that the contents are true and correct.
5.End with date, place, and signature of the deponent.
6.Get it attested by an Oath Commissioner/Notary.
