An exciting opportunity for C\u00c9GEP students<\/span> and working professionals<\/span> to delve into the perfect fusion of AI technology and ethical considerations while making use of LLMs, (Large Language Models). About the Program \/ What to Expect<\/span><\/span><\/h3>

Launching this summer in partnership with Dawson AI and Mitacs, the AI Accelerator Program represents the next step in R&D program initiatives, providing college students with the opportunity to work on real-world  projects. The new 10-week online program provides the tools and exposure needed to enable students from all disciplines to launch their careers in AI. In addition, the program could be followed by a paid internship for college students by Mitacs in collaboration with organizations or companies.<\/span>\n

Over the course of 10 weeks, from February 15 to April 16, 2025 we will immerse <\/span>ourselves in the realm of Artificial Intelligence and its ethical considerations<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Week 1 \u2013 4: Foundational Skills<\/span><\/h4>

In the first four weeks, you\u2019ll build a strong foundation in essential skills such as <\/span>programming, data handling, and data cleaning.These foundational skills will equip you <\/span>with the necessary tools to succeed in more advanced AI and machine learning <\/span>concepts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Week 5-10: AI and Machine Learning<\/span><\/h4>

The next six weeks will focus on core AI and machine learning topics. You\u2019ll dive into key algorithms, fine-tuning models, and practical applications, gaining hands-on experience through projects and exercises. You will also have an opportunity to participate in the Data Journalism Challenge hosted by Dawson College.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\"\"
