`My grama dies age 86 two + weeks ago.

`I got Left Hand Of Darkness as a gift, yay!!! My mom said she had it and could give it me but she had no idea where it was so I got it as a gift instead.

`I finished reading Ethan Frome and The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Cay

`I finished reading the Cartographer's Craft - fic (I really liked it; I was a bit surprised I’ve never read H/S before).

`Got my copy of Yellow submarine back!

`And I got to see a bunch of Friends from the New England area.

- I am listening to Mugglnet Podcast now, never have before, but I am enjoying it.
They just said POA is a place, hehe.

I really wish I had something to post. But I don't so I will just say look at my new icons.

Also got my hair done a few days ago and I am loving it!!

Read some fantastic h/d fic. Some writers are just amazing. I have also been drabbling in some r/s (nothing new for me) and a bit of Snarry (I know) but when a writer is good they could be writing lilly/squid for all I care.Listened to the latest ep of slashcast. this pod cast makes me very happy.
My new favorit show is psych so funny.

I have attempting to write a h/d fic that takes place in the future (2013) Basically everyone has settled down after the war and Harry, is well bored. But I am beginning to think this will come off better as a gen one-shot fic. This upsets me.

Also I just love America
DADT, but a BS plan to keep gays out of the army. You know what US you don't deserve them in your army risking their lives. You don't let them in. You treat them as 2nd class citizens and you don't grant them all their rights. Anyway Go watch this short fim about DADT.

One last note, I have been listening to Ani DeFranco all day and I really love her music.

the past 6 weeks

I just got back from a 6 week program and all I have to say is wow. I don’t think I have ever been around so many kind, loving, excepting, knowledgeable, caring and empowered youth before.

They were politically and socially active and aware. They all had great dreams and just wanted to be helpful and there. We all gave so much of ourselves. It was just such an amazing experience. It seems to me that most people I am around are egocentric, ignorant and often assholes.

Meanwhile most of the people on the program knew the problems, cared and wanted or were doing something about it. It was just so inspiring. That my post about were I have been.

Oh and a different note I told my parents I was bi two nights ago and thankfully they took it well. My mom even said she expected it.

A few things on JKR interview:
I a huge HP fan # one goal is not to me her, it is not my dream (maybe a fic writer or three though). She created a great world and planted the seeds for great characters and did a lot with them. Anyway I would be thrilled beyond belief to meet her but who even if I did she’d not going to tell me the ending to the book (which is what I really want know) and it won't fulfill my life. If given the chance to meet her I would but, if it were her or Ringo or Paul McCartney I would choice ether of them.

She mentioned that a lot of people like Hermione because of Emma Watson; well that is not why I do. In fact I hate the way Hermione is portrayed in the movies (and to some existent Ron) Emma is gorgeous and I think a fine actor as well as Rupert who is hot and great actor but Ron comes off as stupid and kind of bubbly which I think is an extreme exaggeration of who he is in the books. Now back to Hermione, I don't balm Emma for her Hermione or the writers but put together they are a deadly combination which is a shame, I really hate her in the movies. Meanwhile she used to be my fav character and I love her (though wouldn't want to know her) in the books. Much like Sam from LoTR, when my dad first read them to me when I was 8 I fell in love his character, he was my favorite with out a doubt. But in the movies he came off as annoying stupid a bit of an asshole and love sick. What can you do, movies just aren’t as good as the books.

Someone (may JKR or maybe one of her interviewers) mentioned that a lot of people really like

Tom Felton and I think because of that like Draco well not to say that isn’t true even for me but I love Draco because of Fandom not Tom. But I don’t know if I like Snape because of Fandom or Alan.

JKR said one character gets a reprieve; I am think Draco Malfoy or Wormtail. She also mentioned two extra characters dieing. I think Hagrid, Lupin and Mr. Weasly are dyeing in the 7^th book so all his father figures can be killed, I also think Harry and Voldemort will die. So who could the two extra be? I think maybe Draco (I will fucking cry) or/and perhaps so of the Weaslys (Ginny?? I am crossing my fingers for her.)

Well have I started writing again yay. Its HP I think my “That 70s show” career is over.
I am so proud of myself because I have characters, and a real live plot!! I have two time lines, (one for Harry Potter's love life, he gets around and one for HP world)
And I incorporated like 5 fic ideas into one. It's not super well written but if I just finish it I will be super happy.

Also I have been a lot of H/D fic and yay, I forgot how much I live H/D. I will be posting a rec list soon, more for me then for you.

last final was today, I hate finals. Hanging with Emily today and chilled with Sophia today.

Also how much to you love those comical for ED, I laugh every time I see one.
