At some moment, human kind will build its last machine:

The Machine that builds every other machine.

We are building that Last Machine.

The most important thing I can think of working on right now is figuring out Super Intelligence.

Does Super Intelligence lie in the fabric of our Universe? Does it need consciousness? What is consciousness? Can we create conscious machines? Why not?

The next Manhattan Project.

S.I (Super Intelligence) will be more impactful than the atomic bomb. Whichever country has S.I in their possession will dominate everyone else.

The difference is there won't be a need for war. Machine Supremacy will be based on the unlimited amount of innovation, solutions and efficiency that S.I unlocks.

If you believe in religion, it is a race of who is going to have the technology to create a God. The budget allocated just for A.I right now is way bigger than when the US was researching the atomic bomb.

Companies like META and OpenAI are working on their Manhattan Project but I believe they are going in the wrong direction, for reasons that have more to do with politics and stock pricing dynamics than science.
