Winlink oder \u201eWinlink 2000\u201c ist ein weltweites System zur \u00dcbertragung von E-Mails im Amateur- und Seefunk. Es stehen verschiedene \u00dcbertragungstechniken, verschiedene B\u00e4nder und unterschiedliche Wege zur Verf\u00fcgung. Das System arbeitet teilweise automatisch, was es selbst \u00e4u\u00dferst effizient macht. Das Winlink-System ist vielerorts Standard im Notfunk. So ist das Netzwerk auch in den Notfunkkonzepten der LARU enthalten. Support f\u00fcr das System wird von der Amateur Radio Safety Foundation, Inc.<\/a> geleistet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Ben\u00f6tigt wird ein Funkger\u00e4t (meist ein Kurzwellentransceiver), ein Computer sowie ein Modem bzw. die Soundkarte des Computers. Es gibt verschiedene Software zur Kommunikation mit dem Winlink-Netzwerk: https:\/\/winlink.org\/ClientSoftware<\/a>. Mit dem ganzen Setup k\u00f6nnen die RMS (Remote Message Servers) erreicht werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zugangspunkte zum Netz (RMS) sind quasi weltweit verf\u00fcgbar. Informationen hierzu bieten die Clientsoftware sowie die Webseite des Netzwerks: https:\/\/winlink.org\/RMSChannels<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seit mehreren Jahren betreibt die LARU Notfunkgruppe den RMS LX0LWL f\u00fcr die regionale Abdeckung im 6m Band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Introduction<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Winlink or “Winlink 2000” is a worldwide system for transmitting emails in amateur and maritime radio. Various transmission technologies, different bands, and different paths are available. The system operates partially automatically, which makes it extremely efficient. The Winlink system is standard in emergency radio in many places. Winlink operations are also included in the LARU emergency communications concepts. Support for the system is provided by the Amateur Radio Safety Foundation, Inc.<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Equipment<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

You will need a radio (usually a shortwave transceiver), a computer, and a modem or the computer’s sound card. Various software is available for communicating with the Winlink network: https:\/\/winlink.org\/ClientSoftware<\/a>. With this complete setup, the RMS (Remote Message Servers) can be reached.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access points<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Access points to the network (RMS) are available nearly worldwide. Information about this can be found in the client software as well as on the network’s website: https:\/\/winlink.org\/RMSChannels<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For some years now, the LARUs emergency communications group is operating the RMS LX0LWL, used for the regional coverage in the 6m band.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
