Looking for a story. There was a great story on AO3 that has now been deleted. And I would love to know who wrote it so I can beg her for a copy. Buck had been in the Navy Seals in this one, even though he was a firefighter at the 118 for this story. Jack O'Neill has kept an eye on him, and asks him to re-enlist to help with Atlantis. Which he does. Eddie ends up getting enlisted as well, and at the end of the story, atlantis and stargate go public and Buck and Eddie are helping with all of that. Does with ring a bell with anyone? Buck tapes stories of him reading to Christ and sends them to him from Atlantis. It was such a great story.

Teen wolf fic finders actually failed me in finding this, so thought I'd try here as a last resort!!

I'm looking for a fic where Stiles is a merman, I think? I don't remember the circumstances, but stiles has left and is in the beach front house Claudia had left him. Peter shows up, and he is despairing when it is clear that Stiles is planning on going back to his under the sea world, but then Stiles has a potion for him that will let him to with Stiles. Sound familiar?

Hello all,

I just wanted to let you know that in an effort to simplify my life, I am moving all my stories over to AO3. I will be closing down my website in a few months, once I get everything moved over.

I have also stopped posting here for the most part, as AO3 is so easy to use and lets you subscribe and bookmark series, etc, so you can get all the notification over there for any of my new stories.

I have, by the way, written many new stories in several new fandoms so go enjoy! And I really really need to stop getting sucked into new fandoms!!

Yes, another new story! I know, I've been so prolific lately. LOL.

Anyhoo, this is a crossover, with a crossover pairing. I don't think I've ever done that. But I was searching around for a better match for Methos than Duncan, because sometimes he pisses me off, and this is what I came up with.

This is actually a series, but they're all linked together on AO3. It's a crossover with Harry Potter where John is a wizard, and it is a wonderful answer to the Reichenbach episode. My favorite scene in the whole series is where Sherlock, who has read John's schoolbooks, has hunted down every species of toad he can find to get them to sit on a chicken egg in hopes of hatching a Basilisk. 1. An Unconventional Partnership by Rosalyn. http://archiveofourown.org/works/545758
This is a crossover between White Collar and Person Of Interest, when Neal's number comes up. The story claims to be slash, but it isn't really, at least not yet, more innunendo than anything else. The author states she might write sequels. But it's very fun for the two universes to cross and I think she does a great job with all the characters.

2. Break Down in the Shape of Things to Come. http://archiveofourown.org/works/376316
This is a White Collar Star Trek fusion fic. So Peter is a Starship Captain, taking a year to teach at the academy while his ship is repaired after all the events of ST2009, and Neil is a 1/2 Vulcan cadet. I love this fic, because Peter is so clear-headed, so you can just relax that he's going to handle everything as well as possible. And Neil is perfect in this. Very long yummy fic. And it says it's not done, 47 out of 48 chapters, but there's an epilogue after chapter 47, so I think the fic is done. It certainly feels done.

3. Dies Irae, or Something by AlchemyAlice. http://archiveofourown.org/works/245097
Another "how they fixed the apocalypse" story, where Michael is actually one of the good guys. Dean/Castiel, Sam/Gabriel, riveting epic tale.

Hello everyone!

Here's another fabulous rec. It's a supernatural/Sherilyn Kenyon crossover, where Sam and Dean end up becoming a Hellchaser and Dark Hunter respectively. You don't really have to have read any Sherilyn Kenyon books, just understand that they are all versions of demon hunters. I love this story, because even though it is a Dean/Castiel, and Sam/Thorn romance story, the relationship between the brothers is so strong, the way it used to be. I just wished it could have gone on longer, but it is novel length which is lovely.

New Fic: Cougar Xing

I changed my look! Yay!

I have been very remiss in announcing my new fic here, so I will add a few entries correcting that!

I can only think the new Hobbit film is to blame for sucking me back into Lord of the Rings. Of course, years ago, when I was in the fandom I was a big Sam/Frodo fan, so I went right back to that.

The first story is called Cougar Xing, and it's really an original AU, but I used Elijah Wood and Sean Astin's pretty faces and names for my characters. Summary: Elijah thinks he's going crazy or the cougar at the zoo is talking to him.

It's long, and plotty, and so, so clever, with Dean and Sam, and Castiel, Bobby, Crowley, Gabriel, Lucifer, Michael, and all the other favorites, but everyone's having to switch gears because Dean does something very unexpected and takes himself out of the vessel game.

What's it about? It's a total AU where Jensen is a magical being trying to live in a normal world, and he doesn't do a very good job of it. LOL, I just wrote another paragraph and realized I could write a full page treatise on this story and still not be able to explain it adequately. It's sad and angsty and magical and powerful, and about the power of love and music and friendship and hope and the list goes on and on. Hopefully you'll love it as much as I do. It's Jensen/Jared, with a truly beautiful happy ending.

This is a fascinating story, based on a prompt of Grimmauld Place, so the house is a main character in the book, all it's artifacts and books and portraits, and even its candles. It's a little dark, and bad things happen to people, but it has a lovely happy ending. It's also a little confusing, which it's meant to be, because you are struggling to figure things out along with Harry. It's a stick with you kind of story.

I'm giving you her summary: Jensen was eight years old when the egg he found impossibly hatched into a dragon who only stuck around long enough to take a chunk out of his ear and set fire to his house before vanishing. Twenty years later, and Jensen is still trying to convince himself that he imagined the whole thing (and his family that he isn't a pyromaniac), when the dragon reappears on his doorstep. Only this time Jared is a lot bigger than he was when they first met, and he's walking on two legs.

Jensen and Jared when they were both little, while a relatively small part of the story, are hysterical, as is when they both meet again. A little bit of angst but, of course, the obligatory happy ending.

This was so fun! It's after Reichenbach Falls, and John still thinks Sherlock is dead. John is Phil Coulson's cousin, and John gets called to New York to take care of things after Phil's death, and ends up becoming the Avenger's handler at Fury's insistence. Sherlock makes an appearance at some point, and happy endings abound. It's pre-slash for John/Sherlock, and many pairings in the Avengers universe.
