“You can love because Jesus has loved you first.”
-Archbishop José H. Gomez
(Ordination Homily 2025)
With hearts full of gratitude to Almighty God, we rejoice in the ordination of our three transitional deacons to the Sacred Order of Priesthood. Ordained by Archbishop José H. Gomez on Saturday, May 30, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, these newly ordained priests now begin their ministry in service to the People of God throughout the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.
We invite you to watch the ordination livestream below, view highlights from this joyful celebration, and get to know our #newLApriests by reading their stories and watching their vocation profiles.
Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they begin their priestly ministry, bringing Christ’s love, mercy, and hope to all those they are called to serve.
