Today, we give you a brief glimpse into one of the projects we implemented for a renowned international school in Dubai. The project involved upgrading the infrastructure of their Chemical & Microbiology labs with robust and efficient laboratory furnishing solutions.
Client: An outstanding British school in Dubai known for exceptional academic standards and a consistent track record of excellence. The school has been rated “Outstanding” by the KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) for ten consecutive years and recognized both within the UAE and internationally.
Solution we offered: As a leading turnkey laboratory solutions provider, LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide array of customised laboratory furnishings for their Chemical & Microbiology laboratories along with fit-out works.
Main scope of work:
- Designed as a Floor-Mounted LabSpace, the labs are a combination of precision, adaptability and cutting-edge technology, providing an immersive environment that facilitates experimentation and cultivates expertise in industrial processes.
- A scalable layout that optimises space usage, accommodating equipment of different sizes and layouts for diverse experiments.
- The worktops were constructed using 16mm thick Trespa TopLab which stands out for its exceptional durability and chemical resistance.
- The cabinets were crafted using 18mm thick high-pressure melamine laminated boiled waterproof plywood, providing a longer lifespan, increased durability, chemical resistance, easy maintenance, and high moisture resistance. They are mounted directly on the floor and feature a toe kick clearance with worktops securely attached on top of the structure, ensuring unwavering stability.
