Client: A leader in the packaging industry in the Middle East. The company operates the largest, most technically advanced corrugated packaging plant strategically positioned in Jebel Ali Industrial Area.
Solution we offered: LabSpace has supplied and installed a wide range of state-of-the-art, customised chemical testing laboratory furniture that facilitates innovation, while providing an immersive environment that cultivates expertise in industrial processes. Along with laboratory furnishings, we also implemented fit-out works in MEP such as painting, false ceiling, lighting, and sensor type glass doors with access control systems
Main scope of work:
- With the implementation of our floor-mounted lab space design, each lab epitomises precision, safety, adaptability, and optimal performance.
- The design offers a secure and stable solution with cabinets mounted directly on the floor, eliminating the need for extra support structures. Cabinets feature a toe-kick clearance with worktops securely attached on top of the structure, ensuring unwavering stability.
- The lab’s scalable layout enables efficient utilization of space, accommodating equipment of various sizes.
- The worktops were constructed using 16mm thick Trespa TopLab which stands out for its remarkable durability and functionality.
- The cabinets were crafted using 18mm thick high-pressure melamine laminated boiled waterproof plywood, providing a longer lifespan, increased durability, chemical resistance, high moisture resistance and easy maintenance.
- Chemical resistant and highly durable Polypropylene sinks.
