DROP 2 IS COMING IN AUGUST WITH REFRESHED INVENTORY ACROSS ALL OLYMPIC SPORTS 

Don’t miss your chance for a ticket to history. Drop 2 is another chance to purchase LA28 Olympics tickets and will include a presale for qualifying* Visa cardholders. 

Registration for the Drop 2 LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw and the Visa Presale Draw* closes July 22, 2026.  

Visa Presale time slot notifications will be released on July 27 with the presale taking place July 29–31, 2026. 

Drop 2 time slot notifications will be released on August 6–7 with time slots running between August 10–20.  

If you’ve never registered for the LA28 Olympic Ticket Draw, register now here. 

Fans who previously registered for the first ticket draw but didn’t receive a time slot or didn’t purchase their ticket maximums during their time slot will automatically be entered into the draw for Drop 2. If you’d like to be included in the Visa Presale Draw, see the directions below.  

Paralympic tickets will be available for purchase starting in 2027.

2. Find out via email if you’ve been randomly selected for a time slot during one of our ticket drops or presales.

3. Purchase tickets during your time slot.

The Visa Presale

The Visa Presale is an early purchase window for qualifying* Visa cardholders randomly selected from the Visa Presale Draw.  

To enter the draw for the Visa Presale if you've never registered for an LA28 Ticket Draw: Go to tickets.LA28.org, register for the draw and check the relevant box certifying you are a qualifying Visa cardholder.  

To enter the draw for the Visa Presale if you've already registered for the LA28 Ticket Draw: Go to tickets.LA28.org, log in to your LA28 ID account and update your registration by checking the relevant box certifying you are a qualifying Visa cardholder.  

If you don’t receive a time slot for the Visa Presale, you’ll automatically be entered into the draw for Drop 2. You will only be notified if you receive a time slot in the Visa Presale. If you don't hear anything, your next update will be August 6–7 for results of the Drop 2 Draw. Fans who receive a time slot for the Visa Presale are not eligible to receive a time slot in Drop 2. 

TICKETING 101

THE LA28 TICKETING PROCESS

REGISTRATION PERIOD: The window of time when you must register and create a profile to be entered into the ticket draw. The second registration period closes July 22, 2026. If you registered for the first ticket draw, you do not need to enter again.
 
TICKET DRAW: The random assignment of time slots to purchase tickets. 

TIME SLOT: The period of time when you can purchase tickets during a drop.

TICKET DROP: When tickets are released and available for purchase for those assigned time slots.

LA28 ZONES

Our Games have events taking place in zones across Los Angeles County, broader Northern and Southern California, Oklahoma City, Columbus, Nashville, New York City and St. Louis. Zones are geographic areas containing one or more LA28 venues. They provide a simple way for fans to understand where competitions will take place and what’s around them.
