Overview

I aimed to learn React while using WordPress as the backend. Most React tutorials rely on create‑react‑app, but that tool is unsuitable for developing a WordPress theme because it depends on the Webpack Dev Server. To address this, I created create-react-wptheme, which runs Webpack in watch mode and serves the theme directly through your WordPress server—making development more seamless.
