Just a Christmasy thing , not a Pros thing =0



I'll post answers tonight.

2020. . . ahhh! But now it has a bright point.

We had to cancel the Pros con, BistoCon, that we had scheduled earlier this month. We were bummed!!

Then some of the group attended an online con, and said how well it went. I watched SDComicCon and saw how well the zoom worked, but before we could pool our thoughts, Snowhite calls me and says “let’s run a virtual con.” And we jumped on it. With 10 days planning. . . we did it!!

It was great. So much fun.!!

We wanted to include all time zones. On Friday – the meet and greet was held twice. In the AM pacific time zone, which was 5pm UK, 2am Sat in Aust. Then again at 4pm pacific which was 1am UK and 10am Sat for Aust. We talked for an hour and then watch an episode together. Squee!!!

Sat started early for pacific time zone (6am). . . I didn’t care it was Bodie and Doyle day!

We started with panels, (Disappearing Girlfriends) on Zoom. That was followed by an episode watch of Backtrack –on Twitch- we could chat the whole time. . .can I squee again? Squeeeee.

That’s the day-- Panel, episode, panel, Vid show, open consuite, panel, episode, panel different vid show, open consuite. Panel, episode panel repeat of morning vid show Conroom break for goodbyes the two more episode watches.

Panels included – Disappearing Girlfriends, Desert Island Fic, Why Has It Lasted?, Hearts and Flowers or Shag and Run, Does the Friendship Matter and ended with Canon vs Fannon.

We watched and squeed together : Backtrack, Everest Was Also Conquered, Blind Run, First Night, and ended with Discovered in a Graveyard. –the vid show 1st one contemporary and the 2nd was old not online VCR vids!! Great to see!

Then people went away :( Sad that it was over, happy that it went well and ready to do it again. Which we will – host another virtual Pros Con!!!

The schedule was set up so we could give UK, Europe and Australia some real time there as well!

At the midday con break we had an impromptu art show, we all showed off what Pros art we had. . . .yum, yum!

We were talking and my BistoCon group decided that we just couldn't miss out on sharing the Lads together. . . . so. . .



BistoCon is happening! Sort of. We are preparing a FREE virtual BistoCon for August 14-15. This is a “lite” version of BistoCon. We won’t have games or all of the panels (and pizza!) that we usually have. However, there will be a Friday evening gathering and an episode watch. Saturday the 15th will have episodes, panels, songvids, and more. Everything will be done through Zoom and Twitch. Concerned about Zoom or Twitch? Friday evening is a chance to test and get help before the welcome party and episode watch. The full BistoCon, in all its glory, will return at a later date!

A schedule will be shared as soon as we have it firmed up. Zoom links and Twitch information will be shared with registrants right before the con.

Watched a TV show that looked for clues about the person in social media. . . realized that I would seem like a potential mayhem maker or a porn queen.

With no option but to be at home I will make the effort to Prosy post at least twice a week.

BistoCon 3 is on!

Join us on August 10, 11, and 12, 2018.

BistoCon is a small slash con for fans of the Professionals held every two years in Romulus, Michigan, just outside of Detroit. (At the Detroit Airport)

All Pros for 3 days . . .squee! For more con information - Bistocon.org

The zine is available to everyone, no con attendance required to submit!

We are planning on producing our second ever e-zine for BistoCon 2018 and we need your creative contributions to make it happen. Anything Pros related goes- stories, art, puzzles, games, essays, meta, trivia, puns, limericks, poetry, humor, anything at all that fills up the pages and celebrates the lads. Gen, slash, or any other category are all invited to the party. Crossovers and multiverses are welcome as long as the Pros universe and characters are the main focus. The zine is intended to be as open and as welcoming as possible.

Anyone can contribute, regardless of whether you're attending the con or not, although we hope you'll join us for the fun. We ask that you please keep what you send us exclusive to the zine for six months after the con, that is, until February 13, 2019. This includes posting anywhere online. After that, it's all yours.

Please send your submissions as soon as possible to zine@bistocon.org but no later than July 1, 2018. If you have any questions, feel free to send them to zine@bistocon.org as well.

Hi!!!!!

I have used photobucket to house pictures and then post them. Well I find out today that they want me to pay for third party postings. $399.00 . . . . All my postings that had pics are gone. The pics are in the PB but links are disabled.

So my plea for help is how do I get photos into postings. . . or do I need to find another holding site?

Thank you. . .I am freaking out over the thought of having to go back and repost pics in my LJ, DW, and A03 accounts.

see way shallow but it's for a game Jeopardy-Pros style.. . . not for those things you were thinking. . . .

I was deeply surprised that I don't have as many as I should. And I did notice that Doyle puts it on display way more than Bodie. . . thought I do recall that Bodie has some fine front down low shots. . . .

I need them. . . I mean I want them for the game
