[OOC] Power Permissions
SO HERE'S THE LOW DOWN.
Trauma is a Telepathic Shapeshifter. This is my fancy way to get around calling him a boggart. He telepathically senses fears and turns into them. The more prominent a fear, the easier it is for him to pick up on. The more scared of something you are, the more powerful he becomes. His powers are also magic in origin, in case that's a thing you need to know.
SO. I'm gonna ask you to fill out a form for me:
I put up a quick example here, if that helps!

SO. I'm gonna ask you to fill out a form for me:
Player: WHO ARE YOU.
How can I get in touch with you?: HOW DO I CONTACT YOU IF NEED BE?
Character: Who is this delicious morsel you've come to tell me about?
OOCly, can Trauma sense their fears?: Basically, are you comfortable with him poking in their head?
ICly, can Trauma sense their fears?: Of course, his power doesn't work on everyone. The reasons given in canon are this his power doesn't work on robots (he's never come across any sentient, inorganic beings in canon though, and magic and robots are not incompatible in Marvel so WHO KNOWS. Let's just say it doesn't work though,) and in the Hood's case, a pact between Dorrammu and Nightmare. It's safe to assume anyone who is immune to telepathy or magic is immune also.
What surface fears would he pick up?: Surface fears are like, what people are afraid of in everyday scenarios. Say if you're worried about missing a bill, it may not be the WORST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN, but it's something you'd be scared of anyway. Rest assured, these are like background noise for him and he won't be consciously aware enough to pick them out unless he makes an effort to do so. It is a way of breeding familiaraity, though. Recognising people are in the area by their fears and whatnot.
What's your character's worst fear? What it says on the tin, really. If he ever has cause to go rooting around in there, this is the one he's going to go for. Don't worry if you're not sure! (I'd be hard-pressed to come up with this for a fair few of my characters) tbh I doubt this is something that will come up often in-game anyway.
Any concerns/questions/interesting bits of trivia? Like, for instance, did you know Bruce Wayne is allergic to bees? (that is probably a lie.)
I put up a quick example here, if that helps!
