If you regularly build the same combination of parts, you can save time by creating a Grouped Unit in MaxCut. This allows you to reuse a complete assembly without manually re-entering each part every time.

How it works:

1. Create a Group
   Create a new group by double-clicking on the *Group library item or click Add > Group. Give your group a clear name, for example: Floor Unit 300.
   

2. Add Parts to the Group
   Add all the individual components that make up the unit.
   For example:

   • Side Left – 720x560 – White Material [Tag: Exposed Left]

   • Side Right – 720x560 – White Material [Tag: Exposed Right]

   • Base – 720x560 – White Material

   • Back – 720x560 – White Material
     (Include any panels, hardware, or fittings you normally use.)

3. Save the Group to Your Library
   Once the unit is complete:

   • Right-click on the parent group (Floor Unit 300)

   • Select Create Library Item

Your grouped unit is now saved and ready to use in other jobs. Just double-click on it or drag it from your library into a new job whenever you need it.

Tip:

Give grouped units meaningful names (like F300 - Base Cabinet) so they’re easy to find later.
