This privacy policy (“Policy”) describes how Klass (“Klass”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, protects and uses the personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) you (“User”, “you” or “your”) may provide on the Klass.lk website and any of its products or services (collectively, “App” or “Services”).

It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, or to individuals that we do not employ or manage.

Automatic Collection: When you visit the App, our servers automatically record information that your browser or device sends, such as IP address, device type, operating system, and usage statistics. This is used solely to identify potential abuse and establish statistical trends.

• Archived Accounts: If your account is inactive for 1 month, it is archived. Your data remains stored but access is restricted until reactivation requirements are met.
• Permanent Deletion: If an account remains inactive for 12 months, we may permanently delete the account and all associated data (including course materials) to comply with data protection regulations and protect our systems.

The Rights of Users

You may exercise certain rights regarding your information, including the right to withdraw consent, object to processing, access your data, and seek rectification or erasure. Requests to exercise these rights can be directed to support@klass.lk. Please note that data erasure cannot be enforced after the 12-month inactivity deletion period has passed.

Billing and Payments

We use third-party payment processors to assist us in processing your payment information securely. Their use of your Personal Information is governed by their respective privacy policies. In cases of high-risk transactions, we may request government-issued ID to prevent fraud.

Information Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be 100% guaranteed. In the event of a data breach, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals.

The App uses “cookies” to help personalize your online experience and track statistical usage. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies through your browser settings, though declining may limit your access to certain features.
