People, I need your help! For health/weight loss reason I've decided to eat two vegetarian meals a day. I've realize that I eat too much meat and too much of the wrong kind. I plan my meals by picking a meat and then (maybe) picking a vegetable to go with it. I need to teach myself that meat doesn't make the meal and up my intake of vegetables and fruit.
I've got senioritis and I've got it BAD. I've started to wonder what my GPA would be if I just stopped doing homework.^^; I doubt that would really happen but it's a very tempting thought. I'm spending my weekends reading manga and watching tv on hulu.com instead of writing papers. Then again procrastination is nothing new, I'm just taking it to new and exciting heights. I do plan to start writing (and maybe *gasp* finish something!) when the semester is over, so that's pretty exciting. And if all goes well I'll be moshing at the NIN concert two weeks after graduation!

On Monday I went to a speech given by a woman who works in the admin office of the University of Chicago's Graduate school and she told us some not too happy things. Basically more and more people are realizing that B.A's aren't as valuable as they used to be and to stand out and make good money they'll need an advanced degree, add to that the fact that more people are going back to school because of the failing economy and you have a recipe for disaster. Oh, did I mention that since schools are losing money they're raising tuition and letting in less people? She said that this year they had three hundred applicants for six spots. Holy. Shit.
I had already planned to take a year off before going to grad school but now I'm thinking it'll be a few years. I don't really mind though. I know now that I'm motivated enough to go back even after a few years off. Maybe I'll take a few classes at one of the Chicago colleges to raise my GPA and make sure I don't completely forget what little math I know.
Now, to work on finding a job that will actually pay me a living wage....

But I think it'd be good for me to live in another city for a couple years before I start grad school. I picked Seattle but I'm open to other suggestions. My requirements are:

Near a large body of water.
