Movie Reviews, My Life, and It's Food Time So I'll Edit This Later

Why oh why oh why oh why oh why is my damn computer so so so so so so so so so sosososososososososososososososososososososo stupid?!?!?!?!?!?! GOD!?!?!?! DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!! I was just typing up this review of the Batman movie, right here, and what does my stupid computer do?! It shuts the internet down on me and doesn't even have the courtesy to save my entry. DAMN IT! And I was all most done, too! And it was long! ARGH!!! I'm so frustrated I'm already crying! This sucks!!!!!

Damn it. Let me see what I remember.

Soooo... it's been a while since I last updated this thing. And god, now I have too do it twice. Damn it.

Anyway, earlier today I went out and saw the new Batman movie, 'Batman: The Dark Knight' and I have to say it was much better than I expected (I only went for the popcorn. Seriously.). Too explain that statement, I'm a Marvel Girl. I ~~hate~~ dislike DC comics. And Batman. And pretty much everyone else except for the JSA, the Super Buddies, and Impulse. Oh, and Todd, because he's gay and that's cool. Even though he was kinda a villain before. Anyway, I ~~hate~~ dislike them because Batman's too depressing, Superman's stupid, Wonder Woman's dull, and Flash treated Impulse badly. Man-hunters not too bad, though. So I was only going to this movie for the popcorn. I even wore a Spider-man shirt (needless to say, L wore a Batman one).

Anyway, so I was going in expecting this movie to be really really stupid. But it wasn't. It was actually pretty good. I mean, sure, there were some bad parts, what with Harvey Dent and anyone who ever read a Batman comic and had half a brain knowing who he was upon hearing his name/seeing him flip that coin. And god I hate that I have to do this over. Also, did anyone actually believe that Gordan died? I mean, come on! He still has to be alive to see Barbara become Batgirl! Also, people going alone everywhere? How stupid can you get! Also, the detonator at the end? The Joker pushed the button, and I saw a green light-y thing, but nothing exploded.

But I really did like the part where the criminal said "I'll do what you should have done ten minutes ago" and took the detonator from the ship guy (okay, this needs some explaining, and as much as I hate to do this again -and I'm still crying, darn it- it was one of my favorite parts. So, see the Joker -do they ever tell us his real name in the books? Because in the movie they don't, and it seems like the Joker just kinda popped up out of nowhere, and now that I think about it that's kinda how it should be for the Joker- got out of jail and he tells every one that they should leave Gotham, but he's done something to the bridges so the people try to leave on boats or something. But Gordan is worried that the criminals he and Harvey captured are up to something, so he gets them out of the city on one of the boats, and there's two boats, so one's got criminals and the others got regular people. And then when they're in the middle of the river or something the Joker stops the boats and shuts down communications. And then the people on the boats find these detonators. And the Joker tells them that whoever presses the button first gets to live but the people on the other ship die. And I'm sitting there thinking, 'oh no', because I think that he's tricking them, and that whoever presses the button will get blown up. And he also says that someone's gotta press the button/pull the thing before midnight or they both die. And that's my confusing explanation, so back to what I was saying) so the criminal takes the detonator and throws it out the window. And I'm so happy about that that I actually clap for him. Anyway, I think the guys like, half blind or something, because his right eye looked a little funky.

Anyway, I also really liked Heath Ledger in this, because he does crazy really well. It's almost my level of crazy, and that's saying something. But his crazy is on the homicidal side, which mine is not, in case anyone was wondering. But that;s how the Joker should be. But hey, the movie was scary ~~horror (it's DRAMA) -oh, shut up, you-~~, so it was to be expected. And I did spend an inordinate amount of time staring at the walls and the ceiling.

My mind is a strange place to be, I figured out during this movie, because even with all the crazy going on my brain still had it's slash detector out and it's gay-goggles on. So when the Joker says "I like them tough" or something and Batman says "then you'll love me" I still squealed. XD XD

One thing that bothered me, though, was that Rachel girl. You know, the one who wrote that letter to Bruce that he never read because Alfred ended up burning it? The one who was going to marry Dent? The one who got exploded? The one who Batman said he was going to save but ended up saving Dent -that part confused me, because Batman said he was going to save Rachel. W says that the Joker switched who was where, but still, when Batman saw Dent instead of Rachel, he didn't seem at all surprised, so what gives?- instead? That one? Where's she from? L says that she doesn't remember the girl in the comics, and I didn't pay all that much attention to her because, Yuck, romance in my action movies? No thanks.

I liked the part at the end, because while what Gordan was saying ("the hero Gotham deserves/=the hero Gotham needs") was really confusing, it was also really really cool.

Batman himself was also awesome, what with the chase scenes and the special effects and the freaky voice changes and the nasty looking scars, but also with the car. That was a really awesome car. I mean, it even said "goodbye" before it spit out Batman on a motorcycle and then exploded! It was awesome! I want that motorcycle. The action scenes in the movie were very awesome.

I recommend this movie to everyone. It was several kinds of awesome -but not all kinds of awesome, as Aang in the Avatar planet mode was-, and I think I'd give it a 9 .3 (for the crazy)/10.

Also, the previews were cool. I saw one for 'Watchmen', which I've only recently vaguely heard of, but it looks cool. And the preview had Rorschach in it! Which is a super-hero I only vaguely know about. I spent the whole time watching the preview wondering who the heck it was about, because I knew it was a super-hero movie, but I couldn't figure out what. Darn it. I still don't really know.

In other news, I've recently gotten back into Digimon after we found some old blank tapes while cleaning and found some recorded episodes on them. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be much of a fan base, or one that writes very well. Oh, woe is me. But Tamers is my favorite season, and I'm rather lucky that they show on TV every week day at 6:30. Which I of course don't get up for, as I go to bed at about 5 in the morning and wake up at about 1 in the afternoon, but tape.

Also, Avatar ended. I thought the ending was awesome, with-holding the desperate and out of the blue attempts to draw in the romantics at the end of the series. Bah.

And now it's time for food. So, bye.

So, editing this now, as I back from dinner. And it's really really cold down stairs. But L likes the cold, the freak, so I can't actually turn off the air conditioners. Also, the joys of awkward, stifled conversations when strangers are in the house. I really don't like my sisters boyfriend. He's icky. And weird. Oh well, at least this further cements my belief that I'll never date. At all. Ever.

YO PEOPLE!

Hi! It's me again! I'm sure you all know who I am by now! That Time Line person, right? Yup! I'm almost done with Ark Angel (the only thing of which I remember is monkeys, but it's entirely possible that was just a dream), so I bet you're all wondering what I'm doing making a time-line when I should be reading. Well... see, as I read, I take notes on little note cards. And, well, I ran out of note cards halfway through Ark Angel and I need the ones I used on Scorpia. It's only mildly amusing, but oh well, you guys get a time-line out of it, so I doubt you mind all that much. XD Also, it's there's a thunderstorm ging on here, and if the power goes out, the lights and the internet will go out too, so the only thing I'll be able to do is type.

IMPORTANT: Jack hasn't gotten to be anyless of an idiot since she started these things. Infact, she may have gotten worse. So, please, be kind to the stupid Jack. Please point out any mistakes you notice like, oh, say, the wrong month, but please be nice about it. Thank you.

1987 March 13th - The exchange on Albert Bridge happens and Alex's father 'dies' - True

2001 September 3rd (it says th beginning of September, but in the very first sentence it says a Sunday in August. I love how AHORWZ contridicts himself in the same two pages. It's wonderful) - It's been one month since all that excitement with Cray and ~~Alex's boyfriend~~ Yassen, and now Alex is in Venice looking for Scorpia with his friend Tom Harris ~~there are many kokes I can make her, but I like to think I'm above all that, even though I know I'm not~~ and he manages to save this ladys purse from being stolen. Then later on, Alex spots a clue to Scorpia and follows it. He ends up getting himself caught ~~again~~ ~~dammit! why can't you just stay saved, Alex? why do you keep getting yourself into these messes?~~ and has his first meeting with Nile and find a clue (though he doesn't know what it is yet) about what the main plot of this book will be and how to solve it. He also manages to get himself uncaught ~~again~~ - Guess

2001 September 4th - Alex stumbles back to the hotel in the early hours of the morning. I spazz out about Alex being annoyed at ~~his dead boyfriend~~ Yassen. Then Alex sleeps for a while on the train to Naples, and after he wakes up he tells Tom what's been going on with him. And because Tom is a good friend, he believes him ~~unlike the bit- I mean, Sabina~~. We also meet Tom's brother Jerry ~~the joke has already been made, in the book, no less, and I can say no more~~ and Tom promptly spills Alex's scret to him. It's unclear whether Jerry believes him or not, but one thing is clear. Tom does not know the meaning of the words: secret, subtle, or don't tell anyone. Alex makes plans to go to this place he heard about right before he got caught the day before - Guess

2001 September 5th - Alex dives off a building to break into this place, meets ~~his rebound boy~~ Nile, the man who tried to kill him but is now suddenly inexplicably ~~hungry ... um, wait. why did I write hungry there? I must need food more then I thought. never-the-less, that was totally not what I meant~~ nice to him, again, and they make tracks promptly before the building blows up. ~~You know, things tend to explode rather spontanously in these books... I wonder if someone's compensating for something...~~ Then Alex meets ~~Scary Lady~~ Mrs. Rothman for the first time, gains a few more clues he won't recognize till later, and learns about his dad. He also learns more about Scorpia and decides to join - Guess

2001 September 6th - Alex goes to an island, where he learns to kill. And, um, I just lost half my information for this entry. I'm going to go kill something now - Guess

2001 September 9th through 13th- Alex sees a doctor, and we learn that he's really very good at being an assassin ~~just like his dead boyfriend!~~ but that his psycological profile ~~it scares me that I know what that means~~ says he can't kill. He;s also liked by his classmates. The doctor gives Alex a shot, some thing which will later come back and bite him in the ass. We also learn that Alex isn't so good at hitting human shaped targets. The doctor calls ~~Scary Lady~~ Mrs. Rothman and tells her the news. They decided to send Alex on a mission to kill Mrs. Jones, the woman who 'killed' his father, hoping that the anger will enable him to kill her and that will make him of use to Scorpia -Guess

2001 September 14th, 7:30 am - A letter is sent to the Prime Minister. Invisible Sword is set to begin. Scorpia cannot be stopped. The end is coming. ~~soon to be in theaters near you!~~ A team of soccer players is killed to prove a point, I end up hating a man called Mr. Keller. And I learn to ~~horror of horrors~~ like Alan Blunt a little. Alex arrives back in London, in disguise. He meets up with Nile and then is hurried along to kill Mrs. Jones. He gets inside the building, the gun is practacly to her head with his finger on the trigger, but he ends up not killing her. And not because he couldn't but because he wouldn't. And I take back all the bad things I said about Alex. He is awesome. And this books seems determinded to make me like MI6, because I don't hate Mrs. Jones as much as before. Anyway, Alex gets captured ~~again~~ but this time he's been captured by the 'good' guys. They throw him in a cell for the night - Guess

2001 September 15th - Alex sleeps through the night, and then wakes up and has a meeting with Alan Blunt. He finds out more of what's going on, and then is dragged off to a meeting of COBRA. ~~And haha! I found a mistake! In Scorpia, chapter 14, COBRA, page 261, paragraph 9, sentence 4, word 10, they use the word 'is' instead of 'us'~~. Well, after a bit of bickering, the group of people consisting of some of the most important men and women in Britain manage to find out what's going on, with generous imput from Alex. And then, after a half-cocked plan is made, the MI6 guys leave. And Alan Blunt once again ~~demands~~ ~~assumes~~ ~~takes~~ 'asks' for Alex's help to save the world. Again. Anyway, Smithers comes in and gives Alex a gadget with which to contact the MI6 once he finds what he needs, and they arrrange an escape and send Alex back off the Scorpia - Guess

2001 September 16th - Alex returns to Scorpia and sleeps through the night. Then he meets up with ~~Scary Lady~~ Mrs. Rothman and ~~Alex's rebound friend~~ Nile, whereas he lies his ass off trying to get them to believe that he killed Mrs. Jones. It works. Sorta. Anyway, Rothman has Nile search Alex ~~you say he searched Alex 'everywhere'... *raises eyebrows and leers* and you expect dirty minded fangirls not to have bad thoughts about that? I'm rather surprised theres no fic yet~~. Anyway, they move on and then Alex finds out all that's really going on, get's his cover blown, and somehow manages to save the world. Business as usual -Guess

2001 September 22nd - It's been a week since the fiasco with Scorpia, but Alex drops into the R&G to leave a report. While he's there, he also learns the real truth about his father. And leaves semi-happy. And then, as he walks out the door, down the steps and onto the sidewalk of the MI6 headquarters he gets shot in the heart by a sniper on the building across the street. I have to say, though, it's a wonderful way to end the series/book. ~~But they 'kill' Alex and don't even give me the date?! C'mon! Cheapskates!~~ - Guess

In other news, I finished Ark Angel, which has another awesome ending! But it also means that now I can start Snakehead. I've already got jitters in my stomach and I haven't even started! So only a question before I leave off the read the next book! *is giddy* ^________________^

Question: Would you rather the next Alex Rider book be about Alex or someone else? If yes, who would it be? I'd much perfer Alex, but what do you guys think?

NEW FRIENDS AND PIMPAGE

Hey! I made a new friend, she's called joysweeper, which has awesomesauce comic scans and comments so hilarious I could die.

Okay, so I was hanging out over at scans_daily were talking on this post. And so, well, we got to talking about something that was said in one of the scans and well, we kinda got to sorta ficcing it. And, well, this happened. And, so, flag (or Star-Spangled Banner, or Union Jack, or Union, or Jack, or Red, White and Blue, etc.) was born. And hilarity ensued.

And, so, after determining that I am an alien for having never seen Star Wars, joysweeper got an idea and blames me for it. Which, okay, is totally reasonable because I did start it, and I totally accept all blame. Happily, in fact. It was, after all, what I was going for.

And then, well, I had to do this post so that she could link me to the story that happens when she actually finishes and posts it so that I can read it and all. I also said I'd pimp the fic/thing here, so, yeah. This is it. Enjoy.

WHY I WISH I COULD RUN AWAY

I really, really, really, really, hate it when my parents fight.

They do it, like, ALL THE TIME. And always makes me feel so useless and small and sad and miserable. Every. Single. Time.

I. HATE. IT.

I really wish they would stop, or confine it to the bedroom, or something. Just once I wish they could go without fighting for a day.

That my dad would actually do the things he's supossed to do, the things he says he'll do, that he would clean the house, get medicene, do SOMETHING instead of read and sleep while he's home alone while me and my sisters go to school, and my mom goes to work.

I wish that my mom would let up and stop ordering us around. That she wouldn't be such a control freak, that she'd let up, that she wouldn't yell when I get something wrong.

Sometimes even wish my dad would get a job.

And it doesn't help that 've had a migraine for the last seven hours, that I'm still not finished my homework, that I've been sick for the last week, that school is so stressful, that I need to take a shower, that I just got home from a two day drive last night, that the school year is ending and the pressure is on to do well, to not slack, to 'keep up the good work'.

And my birthday's (well, me and my triplets birthday) are coming up this weekend and it's makin' me anxious. Another year older and what not. and at the moment it's 11:25 pm. school tomorrow.

And if all this fighting is effecting me the most emotionally stunted of we three, so bad, I can't even begin to imagine the effect it's got on my sisters.

God, I wish they'd just stop.

And they can't even go somewhere else to do it, because the walls of this house are so thin, you can hear anything from anywhere.

And my insomnia's acting up again. And I can't paint flower gardens.

God, I just want to be safe inside my own head.

My freaking laptop died on me. The weekend, the WEEKEND, right before this big, stupid, fucking assignment, that counts as a majoraty of my fuckin' grade, is fucking due.

Which I actually didn't procrastinate on. For once.

The fuck?

Life is out to get me. Well guess what life, I fucking hate you too.

AND on top of that, it's the weekend I need it most, cuz my sister (the one I share a room with) left.

So now I have to camp in with W and L, or I'll get nightmares, or won't be able to sleep.

And it's fucking cramped in there.

Fuck.

This is not helping my insomania at all.

And guess what, none of the other computers in my house have the fucking right word processor to let me complete my project.

Well life, anything ELSE you want to throw at me?

"WHEN I WAS FEELING DOWN I START TO FEEL AROUND"... THERE'S MORE TO THE SONG BUT ' FORGOT IT

So, yeah. Stupid shitty DVD's and stupid shitty DVD players.... *grumble*

But that's a story for another time, and I've got a terrible headache, so I'll just get onto my reason for this post.

Fic snipits! I have some snipits floating around in my head for this one TSUBASA RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE fic that I plan to write. It's got an OC in it, but I don't think she's a Mary Sue. Anyway, beware of some spoliers, randomness, gore (maybe), and a whole load of crack. Angst too. Gender confusion is also something to be wary of. It doesn't have a title yet, so help would be apreciated, though keep in mind that these are just parts of a fic.

Onwards!

Some things I should explain before this: I think that Fai is not surprised by situations, but he IS surprised by people ~~except Kurogane~~ and that while Syaoran and Sakura can't have their old relationship, they can have a new one. On with the story now.

*** (the beginning)

"They're coming."

The Space-Time Witch said the words in a calm voice, looking up expectantly into the sky afterwards, as though waiting for something.

Syaoran followed her gaze through the rain, dimly curious under all the pain, weariness and worry that he felt. Subconsiously he hugged Sakura closer, confirming that she was still there, even if only physically.

As the two of them watched, three bulges appeared in the sky, each one growing bigger and bigger until finally, all three burst open, spitting out three other figures into the rain. Instinctively, Syaoran drew Sakura closer to his chest, shielding her from the strangers.

The first one was tall and blond, and he seemed to almost float as he came down, landing lightly on his feet. He had bright blue eyes and a smiling face, but to Syaoran, something seemed off about it. He was wearing a long white coat with flowing blue triangles as decoration, and he held a tall staff in his hands. He smiled gently at Syaoran and Sakura when he saw them, but there was something in his eyes that made Syaoran feel cold. He then turned to the Witch, an blank expression on his fase.

The second was also male, and he seemed to be the exact opposite of the first man. He had black hair and red eyes, and his face was twisted into a snarl. He landed heavily on the ground, crouching down as he did so a glaring at everyone else. He was dressed in black clothes that covered his whole figure, and he carried with him a long sword, an intricate dragons head as it's handle. This entry is posted solely so that I could use this subject before I forget. XD

Now, on with the actually entry business:

ARG!?!?! WHY OH WHY OH WHY DO I HAVE TO STILL BE IN SCHOOL AFTER CLASSES END?!?!?!?! NARGH?!?! Ugh, why can I not resist my sister(s)? Why can't I have the presence of mind to just say no and stay with that?!?! Ugh!! Why am I so weak against my sister(s)?!?! ARGH!!!!

Okay, now that I've thoroughly confused you, let me explain: one of my sisters (can't tell you which) has this PTA meeting with her teachers and our parents, and our mom said she has to be there too. So my sister begged me to come as well, and even though I said no at first, she kept pleading, and now I'm here.

Still. At. School.

DAMNIT!!! I wanna go home!! ARGH!!! *stomps around*

*sighs* Okay, now that I've calmed down some, I'll just put in something else to make this a not totally rant entry: FIC STATS

Okay, La Ragazza is going sorta well, considering, and so far chapter 13 has 1,873 words, and I'm working on it ever so slowly.

Nella (which I doubt any of you here know about) has two chapters, and I think I have the start of the third laying around here somewhere... *looks around*

Sg-13 is... going. I have like, fifty pages of second chapterness typed, but it doesn't seem to be nearing the end. But it's on another computer. And I'm working on redoing the first chapter...

I still have to finish up my chapter of that round robin fic so that it can get going again...

I have to beta Shin-chan's oneshot she gave me, which actually shouldn't take that long.

And then I've got some pictures and artwork that I'm working on, and other things like that.

And that's not even to mention all the other plot bunnies that have attacked me lately in all sorts of fandoms (KHR(50pbs), Harry Potter(1pb), Green Rider(1pb), Tsubasa(70pbs), xxxholic(2pbs), Dragon Keeper(2pbs), Oofuri(1pb), Hikaru no Go(3pbs)) that have been attacked me lately. ' swear they keep mugging me. They jump me in the halls, my house, the car, the shower... everywhere!!! @.@

Well, now that you've been shown my questionable sanity, it's probably best I finish this up...

1. Um. I lie. A lot. Mos'ly it involves sarcasm or something, but I find lying amusing. Especially when L then turns to me and asks "Really?" Tis fun!

2. When I'm in public and when I'm in private, I act really really different. Seriously. It's like I've got a different personality or something. When I'm with people I' know really well, I'm loud and annoying and sarcastic and crazy and I generally act like I'm on crack. When I'm out in public, I'm quiet and shy and I usually keep to myself. O.o Don't know whats up with that.

3. I'm a very dramatic person. ~~Most~~ Some people would call me OVER dramatic. XD

4. I bump into things a lot. It's probably because I'm half blind, but half the time I don't even remember that I've done it, and end up with bruises I don't remember getting.

5. I take really long showers. ^____________________^

6. I have this obsessive need to have the last word. This leads to make me always respond to each and every comment. D:

So, yeah, as the title says, I'm posting again, as otherwise I might get bullied into it... not mentioning any names *cough*TS*cough*, or anything. But since I've got nothing more interesting than myself to talk about, well, that's what you're gonna get.

20 Facts About Jack That You Probably Aren't Going To Read, But If You Do You're Probably Gonna Wish You Could Unsee, But Can't:

1. Jack isn't my real name, but you probably knew that already. ^_________^

2. I like Marvel comics. A lot.

3. I'm blind in my right eye, and I've got this really wicked cool scar going from my hairline to the corner of my lip, going right over my eye. It's really cool! (And it can tell the future! ...not. XP)

4. I was blinded in my eye and got that cool scar (as well as others) when I fell (or was pushed, I dunno) out a second story window whena year or so ago. Let me tell you, not fun. D<

5. I like to read, write, and draw. Which is fun. But I seem to be getting worse at drawing... ugh.

6. I have a crazy/insane smile that freaks people out, even when I don't mean it too. It's actually kinda fun. XD

7. I'm the oldest of a set of triplets, with another sister who's older than me. Though it doesn't always feel like it... >.>

8. My older sister is scared of me. >D

9. I act like a total spaz at times, but deep, deep, deep, deep, deep down, I'm actually kinda thoughtful. Maybe. >.<

10. I like cats, and used to have 5, until two of them died. TT^TT

11. There's this other cat we have who I' tormented when she was young (we got her really young, and she's still kinda young) but now she loves me and follows me everywhere. Wacky, ain't it?

Uh, Hi, my first time posting in forever. Not my fault if this thing totally sucks, it's all Tearstreaks fault. XP

Anyway, I think I'm suposed to advertise for our to-be band (that will come around in, uh, five or so years, say) called... uh... TEARSTREAK & THE JUMPING JACKS which currently has me as a drummer/percussionist/keyboardist, and Tearstreak (I give up, you're TS from now on, got it?) as the singer. Or Something. Any one interested?
