If not, list your current characters: Nope, not new. Lili Zanotto & Eddie Riggs.

IC Information:

Name: Chie Satonaka
Fandom: Persona 4
Timeline: During the school camping trip.
Age: 16
Appearance: Chie stands at a reasonably decent 5'3, slim, but athletic due to her training. Chie has light brown hair cut into a bobcut, brown eyes and slightly sunburnt skin. Chie is usually wearing her favorite high collared green and yellow track sweater over her school uniform. The sweater's hem stops at the midway point of her grey and black checkered skirt. Under her skirt she wears a pair of black biker shorts. She wears ankle high socks and loafers as well per regulations of her school uniform.
Casual clothes wise, she's prone to wearing a grey skirt, white tank top and baggy green sweater with sneakers.

In the TV world, she dons a pair of yellow glasses to see through the intense fog layered across the world's landscape. She will most likely appear wearing those when she arrives.

Abilities: Without her Persona, Chie is a relatively 'normal' high schooler. Just one obsessed with martial arts movies. Thanks to that, Chie has a strong grasp of martial arts, be it her preferring to use her feet over her fists in a fight. She can defend herself from attackers and is very capable of fighting people twice her size. She maybe small, but she packs a punch.
When summoning her Persona Tomoe Gozen, her abilities increase and she has a make shift summon made up of facets of Chie's personality made to face hardships.

-Skewer [Light physical damage to one enemy]
-Bufu [Light ice damage to one enemy]
-Skull Cracker [Light physical damage to one enemy/confusion status]
-Mabufu [Light ice damage to all enemies]
-Assault Dive [Small physical damage to one enemy]
<s>Tomoe most likely won't be summonable in the first facility due to power nerf.</s>
EDIT: Tomoe can be summoned, just extremely nerfed.

Personality: Chie can be described in three words right off the bat; outgoing, friendly and energetic. She is prone to loud outbursts, jumping into situations without much forethought and thinking with her heart over using her head.

This doesn't mean Chie doesn't have anything knocking around in her skull though, she is smart, but doesn't apply her logic very well (Or very often) when she's in the heat of the moment. She's always doggedly focused on one goal at a time, be it practicing her martial arts or rushing headlong into a fight to protect someone who she thinks is in need, Chie tends only use logic when forced into a moment of thought. That task can be a hard one to achieve with the fact she is an emotional creature at heart, her reactions are always tied back to her
emotions. It makes her bullheadedness and over reactions even more exaggerated at moments.
Chie is also known for her short temper, it goes hand in hand with her over reactions and usually the cause of it due to her emotions bubbling over so quickly that she reacts instead of thinks. It is why the players first introduction to Chie is her delivering a swift kick to the nuts to Yosuke when she found out he broke the dvd she lent to him. Her temper flares easily and quickly, unabashed by logic or anything else for that matter.

Even with her brash behavior, it doesn't mean Chie is fearless. The exact opposite is true, sure she isn't afraid of everything per say, but she does fear being a failure alongside not being able to protect those she cares for. Its why her reactions to bullies is so venomous as it is. She wants to prove that she isn't a failure in any sense of the word whilst protecting people.

History: Chie was born and raised in Inaba. She becoming friends with Yukiko during their childhood in the small isolated farm town. The two meeting on a rainy day, Yukiko having ran away from home when her parents said she couldn't keep the dog she wanted. Chie saw how lost and forlorn Yukiko seemed that day, it spurring the girl to befriend Yukiko and making a vow to protect Yukiko anyway she could. It leading to a strong friendship through out their childhood.

This promise had become strained by the time the main protagonist (Souji Seta) came to stay in Inaba for a year. Chie's promise becoming tainted by the immense jealousy and resentment she had started to feel for her best friend. She eventually starting to view Yukiko like everyone else did, seeing her as a perfect princess instead of the person she is. Chie half knowingly slighting Yukiko in small subtle ways in a way to express her inner frustration at the fact the other girl had/was everything Chie really wanted to be.

It created a divide between the two of them, but not a big enough one for Chie not to notice her best friend's eventual disappearance. sudden disappearances/murders that suddenly started to plague the town within a short amount of time of Souji's arrival. Along side a old wives tale of your soul mate appearing on a turned off television screen during a rainy night at midnight. It all leading to Yukiko's disappearance. From merely out of school to help the inn, to gone entirely, her similar vanishing act leaves the rag tag team of Chie, Yosuke and Souji scrambling for answers and somehow coming to the conclusion that going through a television set is the best course of action. Be it a course of action made real by a pure accident.

Any stray thoughts about how that could work is thrown out the window when Yukiko seemingly appears on the turned off TV during a rainstorm at midnight. Well, what looks like her anyway, this version of Yukiko certainly is less shy and demure in contrast to her usual behavior. Winking at the camera, making lewd commentary and how she wants to find her perfect prince.
The display made the three cohorts talk it over, figuring out slowly but surely that Yukiko was somehow in the TV. Their experience with going into one already certainly helping this conclusion along. They adventuring back into the TV once again to go find Yukiko. Traveling through a castle made up of Yukiko's own muddled psyche. This TV world made up of shadows, creatures that are made up of dark little thoughts niggling in the back of a persons mind. All the subconscious things they have lurking forming into monsters and mayhem when exposed fully in the TV realm. Yukiko's urge to be rescued and escape twisted into a game show revealing what her psyche has always kept behind closed doors. This just spurning Chie on further to run deeper into the maze of a castle to find her friend.

Her charging around does eventually lead to Chie confronting her own inner demons while trying to help Yukiko. She finding out her own urge to protect her best friend isn't as innocent as she thought it was. She obtaining her Persona by facing her true self/accepting the fact these thoughts ARE there. The Persona manifesting itself from her own courage as well as other bits and pieces of her psyche. This realization of her true self creating Tomoe Gozen. Her 'mask', her 'Persona'. A literal summon that will aide her in battle.

This all leads to Yukiko's eventual rescue, she facing her own inner demons as well before the group escape the TV world. Talking it over and forming the investigation crew. Blindly bumbling into the murder cases to see just how they tie into the TV world. It slowly but surely making their group grow by one member; Kanji. The second year the second person they saved from the TV world. The punk aiding them in their search as to what and why people are being thrown into the TV's strange world at all. Between solving the mystery, they still have school to deal with, a yearly school camping trip kicking in two weeks after they save Kanji.

Roleplay Sample - Log: Her feet barely hit the ground before she was up again, delivering several swift kicks into the air with a loud 'HI-YA'. Her mouth dry from her vocalization to go with her abrupt and well practiced motions.

Concentration settled itself across her features as she landed again, moving to put more power behind her kick, nearly edging towards breathless as she did it again. A dull ache rolling its way up the length of her leg as she finally let herself relax. The brunette moving her hand across her brow, sloppily wiping away sweat as she licked at her cracked lips.

Chie could already feel a sunburn forming along the back of her shoulders and arms. Prickling in places from older sunburns long since healed up. It would hurt later, but she needed this today. She needed the breather, the mindless break from school, from homework, from Yukiko's boy troubles.

Even thinking about it made a knot form in her gut, she grimacing and shakily moving over to a the park bench, grabbing up a water bottle to take a slow swig from it. Leaning back against it before sliding back to relax.

'I'll deal with that later, right now- just I need a breather.' She thought with a quiet click her teeth, capping her water bottle while she leaned further back into the hard woodgrain of the bench.

She'd watch Trial Of The Dragon later tonight just to finish the day off right.

Roleplay Sample - Journal: This is nuts. Even- weirder than the whole, going inside the TV thing and I was just starting to get used to that!

Now- this, whatever it is. Come on! This can't be real. Experiments? Evil Doctors? A robot? Its like a really bad movie. Like those cheap DVD's you buy for barely anything at Junes.
Someone has to fess up, seriously, this has to be some crazy- weird, joke.
Teddie, I swear if you and Yosuke thought this was funny I am going to- I don't even know! But you sure aren't going to like it!

This game includes horrible mental and physical torture of your character. After reading the rules/faq for clarification, how do you expect your character to handle this and continue to function? Chie's fought shadows, faced her inner self and generally seen some weird shit, start of the game or not. She's probably going to awkwardly take it in stride after freaking out, but beyond that. It'll be ALL good. <s>One day, I will be able to read questions.</s>

Questions? Comments? Crazed and creative statements? Those go here. Hopefully the history section wasn't too long @_@.

I sure wouldn't mind seeing Yukkiko again, its my job to protect her after all. I can't just let her down because you want to dig your heels in and give me all these weird looks.

Yeah, yeah, you're already in one game, but practicing won't kill you. You could use the shaping up. C'mon, mun! Lets get moving!
