Hey everyone! I apologize for the delay...I worked my butt off the week before last, and just when I thought things were going to slow down, my grandmother passed away. So needless to say, the past two weeks have been slightly hectic.

If anyone would like to be a co-mod for the community, please comment here. Comments will be screened, but I just wanted to see if anyone would be willing to help. You'll still be able to participate, because of the way I plan on setting up the voting, I'm just going to need some help.

That said, please please please pimp this place. We still don't have nearly enough people signed up to participate, so get people to join!!

ETA: The first challenge will now go up October 15th. This gives everyone two weeks to get more people to join!

Incase you all didn't notice, I didn't put up the first round last night. That's because we still don't have nearly enough people to properly run the contest (we'd have to vote off one person a week just to make it go longer than 3 weeks!)

So I need you all to pimp! Remember, that you can get an extra bye if you pimp the community and leave me the link! Invite your friends, their friends, their dogs...doesn't matter who! If they like Kingdom Hearts, or like participating in icontests (or both!) then send them over!!

I'm going to push everything back a week for now. Which means that the first round will go up Sunday (the 24th), and you have till that Friday (the 29th) to sign up if you haven't at the time of the first round. If we still don't have enough by then, then I'll push it back again.

I'd like to see at least 5 more people, but more would be prefered!!

Only five* more days till I post the first challenge and there's not NEARLY enough people this time around. Where's all you that were in it the first time! Come try again!

Remember to pimp the commnuity for an extra bye!! I know that came in handy for a few people.

If I don't see at least 5 more members (not counting the ones I'm about to approve) by Sunday night, I won't post the challenge. More than five would be wonderful, but at least five in order for me to throw up the challenge.

KH Lims Round 2!!

Hey everyone, I wanted to get this started sooner, but life got a bit crazy there for a bit. But things are better and it's now time to start the 2nd round of the LIMS!

Rules are the same as before. You have till September 22nd to sign up, and the first challenge will be posted September 17th. If you sign up on the 22nd before voting is posted, you MUST have your first icon done, otherwise you'll be disqualified.

If you want an extra bye, you must pimp the community somewhere and leave the link in the bye post.

The only thing that's going to be different this time is the voting. I want to participate in the challenges this time around, so I'm going to make the voting so that you all can see who's being voted for (to make sure you all don't think I'm rigging votes or anything like that).

Voting this time around will be done through a poll. You'll be able to see the vote totals for the icons. At the bottom of the voting, you'll be able to put the reasons why you voted for that icon (that will be done annonymously in a seperate poll.) Once votes are tallied, I'll open up to allow you all to see who voted for your icon in the poll and see your comments without me having to email them to you like last round, but since the comments will be anon, you won't have to worry about your name being released for the comments.

I think this is the only way for me to be able to participate and still run the challenge fairly. I'm not the type of person who's going to go out and try and get votes, but I want to make sure it's fair to you all as well.

So get to signing up, get to pimping, and get ready to find out who's going to be the top KH icon maker this time around!

It's time for the final challenge between mokona_modoki and protectra!!!

This challenge is a free for all. You can use any images, any characters, text, animation, etc. Make it the best icon you've ever made. As long as you stay within the rules below, you can do whatever you want! Its' your last challenge, so make it count!

The Rules:

ALL icons must be submitted by 11pm (EST) on Friday, August 4th. BYES ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED FROM HERE ON IN!!!

You must follow LJ-dimension rules: no more than 100x100 or 40kb. Do not share your icon anywhere before this challenge is over. Please do not submit an already made icon. If I find out you have, you will be disqualified.

Challenge 10 - Animation

Ok everyone, we've narrowed it down to the top three!! Only two more challenges left, then we'll break for a week or so before starting sign ups again. So be sure to stay tuned to that!

This weeks challenge is an animation challenge! The icon can be of whatever you want, but it needs to be animated in some way, shape, or form. That means if you have a still picture but animated text, that's fine. Mini-movies, regular frame by frame animation, whatever you want, just as long as SOMETHING in the icon is animated. And yes, you need to stick to the 40kb rule of livejournal.

The Rules:

ALL icons must be submitted by 11pm (EST) on Friday, July 28th. BYES ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED FROM HERE ON IN!!!
