Sisyphus
Are we doomed? Condemned to a life of futility and disdain? Or do we find meaning? In a world filled with losses and pain Ultimately, it’s our attitude Determines a win or a loss Or sees a failure or blessing The price to experience comes at a great cost So, I’m questioning myself How do I expect my life to be? Free of pain, perfect? What an absurdity I guess we have to pick our battles Perfection is obscene There are brief moments of brilliance With failures and boredom in between Like Sisyphus experience Rolling a stone Is it just a futile attempt? Or an action he claims - he happily owns? This thought makes me take pause It gives me perspective in my life Nothing is perfect However, mine is quite nice
