Etsy users: Unannounced Privacy Settings Change

I know I don't post much, but privacy settings really get my goat. Easy changed privacy settings of all it's users without notification. You are now searchable by email with your real name coming up. Additionally when you are searched by name or email it shows your purchase history even if you have not left feedback. Furthermore you are searchable on google by real name to show purchase history.

Basically it is artists offering their work/commissions to the highest bidder on the post (for them) and donating their proceeds to the Relief effort. There are 7 pages of people offering so far, and I'm really impressed.

1. Make at least 5 new friends. I don't care from where.
2. Go to a number of large get-together events. (6 over the year sounds good.)

4. Catch up with my existing friends.
5. Pick up Brazilian Jui Jitsu or Muay Thai.
6. Tone my body.
7. Get flexible!
8. Pick up Church going again.
9. OMG attend a Masquerade with Freddie :D!

Welp, Kevin's gone until Christmas and then afterwards until sometime in the summer. After that remains to be seen. I dropped him off this morning and he let me know a few hours ago that he arrived safely.

It is definitely both a QQ day and a day of hope for new beginnings. Mostly QQ (crying) on my part.

Since moving back to NoVa I've been looking to get employed again to settle my debt, and finish my schooling. Today I was told I got a job I really wanted at a child abuse/neglect organization being the assistant to the mental health director. It pays pretty decently, is nearby (7 miles from my house) and has full benefits after a month. I am sooooooo thrilled. I still need to pass all the background checks (of which there are many) but I'm hoping this is a good step onto the right track!

... but it's ok.
If you can put up with somewhat nonsensical movies, there is at least two scenes in it that make all the crazy worth it. Premise is there's a girl in a mental institution who thinks she's a cyborg. The two scenes to look for are relatively near the end after the main character won't eat and the secondary main character convinces her to.
It is Korean and is subtitled. Still worth it. Artsy film.

Until Kevin can make changes we are on break.

For me and mine just let me clarify.
He needs to at least start looking for a job.
He needs to figure out who he is living with when we move. We were supposed to move two weeks ago and he has been unable to make plans from the options left to him.
He needs less WoW. And maybe a regular sleep schedule.

Highest priority is him just making some kind of effort to put our lives back on track. Too long has he been complacent and I can't take it any more. He needs to start trying or I'm just going to give up.

So stuff kinda is made of suck and fail and I should probably just pour it out in a quick summary.

K still does not have a job.
One of our roomates bailed without saying anything, so since K doesn't have a job I'm paying 2/3rds the rent right now. Also the utilities.
My computer is really, really freaking broken and even though it is under warrenty, shit doesn't appear to be getting fixed.
My cat got broken into over the weekend and the gps was stolen.
Our other roomate is pending a decision to break lease and move to DC. I can NOT even contemplate what we'll do if this happens.
I just lost my second job due to budget cuts in education.
WoW is half the time much more stressful than a videogame could ever be and I'm fucking stressed at the guild I left for being douchebags now.
My medical problems have not been sorted out at all and my insurance is pending drop at any time.
My father won't really talk to me at all.
I don't even want to discuss debt.
...School is kinda fubar too.
Fuck.

I recently applied for a position as a "Research Assistant" over at the medical campus. It wasn't until after I applied that I realized what they currently needed was someone to recruit research participants... which would be a lot like cold call sales (except in person.) This is, honesty, not something I am particularly interested in. However the pay is decent, it would give me a better level of financial stability and it would look good on both my CV and my resume.
They are offering me a temporary position into June (which is when summer classes would be starting) and I'm debating if it is worth the extra money to do something I will likely hate.
However, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. If things go well they are dangling the carrot of giving me a permanent position where I could do REAL research assistant work- with more hands on into the research. Which is what I wanted to apply for in the beginning.

So, should I accept the offer, suffer a little for few weeks (two months or so) with the possibility of getting something I want? Or should I keep looking.

This job will fit relatively well into my schedule, I can take a shuttle to and isn't really "hard" work.

While talking to a friend I realized I've been very vauge in my posts. So I figured I'd make a somewhat more appropriately filled out post to clue my friends in properly.

A little more than three weeks ago, K and I (and some various others) attended Katsucon in DC. We've been going for some years now, so it was kind of subdued for us. Saturday night we were invited (by a staffer) to come to an after-rave party for the musical guests at the convention. We had not seen either of the musical guests, but we thought there would be booze, so eventually K talked me into going. Long story short I end up talking for a considerable amount of time to T, the keyboardist/production guy of one of the bands. I jokingly ask about the lead singer of his band (who I thought was a girl I'd seen earlier.) Laughingly he tells me yes, his singer is hot. But she's also his wife- and thus off limits. He does mention before leaving that his drummer is attractive, single and very open to women. This cements the idea that we should go to the Sunday concert to check out the band and for me to scope out the lady.
Thus we do. K and I come in near the end of their set, and I catch the band coming back on stage (perhaps for an encore, I'm not sure) and I see her and I'm totally hooked. We finish out the concert and wait around to hit up the autograph session (K very impressively snags me a drumstick that was thrown but literally diving to the floor.) We get in line, pick up a CD and get to the band. I make whisper conversation with T (from the night before) until I can make it to the girl (hereforth J). I had her sign the drumstick, I think I might've mumbled something trite but complimentary and then I pretty much fled (but not before telling T how hot! she was.) We wander off to give the band time to work through their line and come back right before they start moving their equipment. T acts as a hugely devils advocate for me as I semi-frantically express interest surrounded by incredible fear. I definitely said "I can't take her out for coffee, what if she secretly HATES cofffee!" To which T calls J over. I swear, she must've thought I was some crazy little fangirl as T asked her if she wanted something to drink, and SOMEHOW it turned around from me planning on taking her out for coffee to me going and getting her a coke? Eitherway, I waited around for her to come get the drink, where at that point I managed to THEN ask her out for coffee. She isn't sure if she'll be able to with the break down and stuff but gives me her number so that I can reach her before I leave to see if she can go.
Luck runs with me and between my friends I get up the nerve to call her an hour or two later. She's free and we meet up. We wander around for about an hour before we mutually have to leave, and I snag some info from her.

The next few days are wishy washy. We exchange pleasantries on myspace before I go in for the kill (her aim name) which thankfully she gives me. This leads to long nights of chatting and finding each other agreeable. At some point she invites me to come up to where she lives to visit her and see the concert the band is playing in NYC. I'm apprehensive but agree and we set the dates. Originally I planned to take K up with me, but we couldn't figure out where he could stay. The weekend arrives and I realize there is no way to take him and I'll have to do the 4 hour drive by myself (something I haven't done in a long time.)

I manage to get up to see her unharmed. We meet up, spend time together and I admit, though we clearly have hit it off, the first few hours were nervewracking. She seemed uninterested in any kind of physical contact, and by the time we got to the club she was playing at she wasn't talking much at all. We do spend the time pre-her set together but I'm getting more and more concerned. She goes up to play and I'm relatively alone, in a place I don't know, with people who seem entirely uninterested in me (including her friends.) Their set was fantastic, so I set to waiting around for her to break down, talk to the band, and fight through the groupies.
Eventually we end up alone again and much to my immense relief she asks if she can kiss me.
The rest of the night ended up very well, and I got almost no sleep. The next day we went to her band's photo shoot, where much to their dismay I'm sure, we wouldn't keep our hands off of each other (not really in the dirty way, mostly just touching, holding hands, etc.)
That night I had to leave (and it was a rough drive on almost no sleep). Since then we've been planning to get together again, probably in another week or two.
Unfortunately we don't know exactly how this all going to work out. She knows I'm in another relationship. She admitted to knowing before she invited me up, and yet she did anyway. We have no idea how this might work. She doesn't know how she feels exactly, and all I know is I don't want to wake up in love one day and realize I can't keep her.

This turned out much longer than I thought it would.
But maybe my rambling makes more sense now. :/

Edit: For those of you who aren't familiar with K and I's relationship, he is more than okay with this kind of relationship (he dragged me to see her when I asked her out at Katsu,) so no I am not sneaking around.

When one doesn't even realize they are looking for a poly relationship (I think) and then they half walk into one... what the hell do you do next? I've begun establishing rules, parameters. Honestly all parties might not be able to handle it, and if that is the case I'd rather dump the entire thing than continue and have to lose a person I love.
This is particularly confusing considering the third person involved evokes a desire in me to top, which has never, ever been a desire of mine. I want to explore this side of me, but I'm not sure if it will work with just anyone.

I guess it is hitting the internet for me. If I read a lot I might be able to avoid some pitfalls. Ultimately though human emotion is unpredicatble and I don't know how this might turn out. That is terrifying. I hate uncertainty and risk. I don't want to risk rejection. At the same time I almost think not trying would be worse.

I just wish I knew what the hell I was doing.
And why I'm dragging a wonderful and beautiful girl into it.

I'm living a day of indecision. I know a big part of it is my incredibly loooow scoring on risk taking behaviour. I am somewhat immobilized by fear. It is an uncomfortable feeling.
