On the occasion of world Environment Day 2023, Kathmandu Environmental Education Project (KEEP) had done Tree Plantation program at surroundings of Ward office and Shree Ghormu Adharbhut school of Naukunda Rural Municipality-06, Sarsiu Rasuwa district of Nepal. KEEP and with the support of Rural Municipality, tree plantation program had conducted with Slogan of World Environment Day 2023, “Solutions to Plastic Pollution”. We had also conducted The Porters Awareness Program in That village and participants from Porters Awareness workshop and Students from Ghormu Adharbhut School and teachers and other ward officials had participated in the Tree Plantation program.
Altogether 60 samplings were planted in the area as a part of Tree Plantation program. Kathmandu environmental Education project with support of Naukunda rural municipality, Ward number 6 jointly organized the Program.
