SO I'VE FINALLY WATCHED THE AVENGERS (I KNOW, I KNOW, YOU COULD NEVER GUESS FROM THE TITLE OF THIS POST BUT THIS IS WHAT THIS WHOLE THING IS ABOUT)

SO MY BASIC REACTION FOR THIS MOVIE WAS

So I went to see it with my mom and my bro. We had to go from one mall to another because there were already two sold out sessions for The Avengers on the first one! And the liiiiiiiiiiines, man, they were crazy! Like, in the second mall, they had to organize and separate the line so people would still be able to circulate in the corridors. INSANE. We ended up seeing it in 3D subbed version, which made me a little sad - even if it was pure sex listening to Hiddles voice (DAT VOICE), I wanted to see the dubbed version, know if they kept up with the awesome. We made a happy stop at KFC so we didn't end up buying the huge Thor cup that mom wanted. But heeey, MAYBE NEXT TIME. ~~CUZ IMMA WATCH DIS SHIET LIEK 200 TIMEZ OR MOAR~~

SO WE WENT TO KFC, ATE ALL THE CHICKEN AND WENT THROUGH THE CRAZY HOARDS THE CINEMA GUYS CALLED LINES AND WE WERE FINALLY INSIDE THAT BIG ROOM FIGHTING FOR A GOOD PLACE AND PUTTING ON YOUR GLASSES TO WAIT FOR THE MOST AWESOME THING TO EVER REACH A CINEMA SCREEN

(There was a couple sitting next to me and they kept discussing about the movies prior to The Avengers and the guy was hilarious. I swear guys, he was my spirit animal or something. When he talked about how the F4 movies had disappointed him I nearly barged into their conversation to say "GOD IKR?!")

WHAT. IS. THIS. MAGNIFICENCE.

I mean, at the beginning? Loki getting evil alliances to achieve power to come to Earth and shake things up a little bit? YES. Loki was completely out of control on this movie! So evil and trampling with other people's feelings! That piece with Natasha? Marvelous. He was so vicious, only to get his pretty perfect round not-so-asgardian ass handed back to him. YES THAT IS LOKI AND YOU KNOW IT. I've heard people criticizing him in some comments, saying that he wasn't "villanious" enough, that he didn't exactly have a purpose to come to Earth, but I don't think that. To me he was very close to the comics actually, always losing his foot in the middle of him stirring some chaos only for Thor to go all "Now look what you've done! Again!" on him. In my brother's words, he was a "bicho ruim da porra" which could be roughly translated as "fucking evil beast". HE KILLED COULSON AFTER ALL, THAT LITTLE SHIET IS BAD TO THE BONE.

(And let me tell you guys how I felt this stupid urge to blush and giggle like a little girl when Hiddles says "São Paulo" SCREAAAAAAAM)

Also, Mr. Hiddleston's acting is formidable, dear Lord.

ANYWAY, TO THE SUPERHEROES!

Clint just couldn't avoid being touched by Loki's spear. No one can judge him, ok. He is not like Tony, who is so Tony he gives deities performance issues.

Natasha. Oh, Natasha. Can I just say how I loved the way she made Loki spill his guts while not even breaking a sweat? He thinks he can manipulate her through her emotions but then she manipulates him because she knew he expected her to be affected by emotions like every other member but she's a professional, she was raised and trained and went through so much and LORD NAT STOP BEING SO FLAWLESS BUT DON'T REALLY NO.

I loved the Tony/Pepper moments (ASDFGHJKL 12% IS NOW A ROMANTIC PERCENTAGE OK). I was all "GAWD PEPPER PICK UP YOUR PHOOOOOOOOONE" at the end. And the Tony/Steve moments were awesome too! But really Steve, "Put on the suit" why not "Get in my suit" jeezuz... Oh, and Robert Downey Jr. is perfect ok. And he really is Tony Stark because he makes all that snarking and rich boy attitude seems so natural... They were waiting for RDJ to be born so they could make an Iron Man movie, that's what I think.

STEVE. STEEEEEEEEEEVE. I WANTED TO SQUISH HIM TO BITS BECAUSE HE'S SUCH A BABY AND HE UNDERSTOOD THAT REFERENCE GUYS, HE DID. Coulson (first name "Agent") fanboying over him was the best part.

I have to say, Mark Ruffallo is the BEST Hulk. To tell to you guys how great he was, even my mother liked him. And she HATES the Hulk, no matter who plays it. Yet she praised his acting and the way the productors decided to use the motion capture technique to do the Hulk this time. DO YOU GUYS SEE HOW AWESOME HE IS, EVEN MY MOTHER SUPPORTED THE HULK GUYS. Plus, the whole cinema clapped loudly when Hulk smashed Loki on the floor like he was a sack of rotten potatoes. HEY MAN, HE KILLED COULSON SO HE DESERVED.

AND I HOPE I WASN'T THE ONLY ONE HOPING FOR THOR TO PULL LOKI TO HIM AND KISS HIM ALREADY RATHER THAN JUST STANDING THERE HOLDING HIS NECK IN THAT SUPER HETEROSEXUAL MANNER IN THAT MOUNTAIN SCENE. AND THE SCENE AT THE TOP OF THE STARK TOWER. OH THOR YOU BIG GOLDEN PUPPY, YOU WILL NEVER LEARN, WILL YOU? But man, I kinda hoped for Loki to drop everything and help them so they could go back to ASSgard ~~and have some ASSecks~~ after Thor told him to fight with them. FUCK LOKI STOP BEING A LITTLE SHIT AND MARRY HIM ALREADY UGH I HATE YOU BUT NO I DON'T UGH STOP MESSING WITH MY FEELS. I kinda didn't like it that he had to go back to Asgard chained AND gagged. But, hm, he was really bad, right, so. Yeah.

(AND THAT 'SEKRIT' SCENE? HOOOOLY DAMN, THANOS! Guys you don't know how many theories I've came up with for the next movies. GUYS.)

AHEM. Anyway.

tl;dr: I SAW THE AVENGERS and it was awesome. The ending left me with cramps though. And mother demanded Thor 2 to happen right then and there. Brother is convinced that Loki is a little shit and not a crybaby (it's a victory). We were all laughing and discussing the best parts. It was one hell of a Quality Family Time.

So I have been trying to think of a cool way to thank you guys for the Christmas cards...
First I thought about making a video and being all herp derp to the max for you all to see, lol. But then I couldn't find my webcam. And I still don't have my scanner, so I don't feel like doing anything very artistic with only my PS and my mouse. It feels... like there's something missing. ANYWAY. TO THE CARDS!

Possible Description Of The Avengers Trailer!

Yesterday, we had the announcement that the first trailer for The Avengers will debut on Tuesday, October 11th, now the user deadwolf369 from IMDb says that he has a description of the first theatrical trailer for the movie.
Here is the description:
It shows Nick Fury and Steve Rogers in that gym that we saw in the sneak peek. Probably a continuation of that scene.
Steve: I’ve basically been dead for the past 70 years, sir. Everyone I know, that I loved, is gone. Dead. I have nothing to lose.
Nick: The world does. -Pause-
Steve: Well with all due respect, sir, when I saved the world in the past, I didn’t do it alone. I’m one man.
Nick: Oh, you won’t be alone. I can assure you that.

- Hawkeye and Black Widow back to back as they both fire their weapons at the aliens. (This was the only time I remember seeing the aliens, though it was too quick to remember any detail and they were out of focus).
- Loki blasting Thor from to top of a building, and we then see Thor falling unconsciously, his hammer falling out of his hand.

Oh God, the angst, I can't handle it.

Then “The Avengers” shows across the screen.
It ends with the scene where Iron Man is doing the head count and says “We have a Hulk” and shows the Hulk roaring.

I HOPE FOR A SNARKY BATTLE BETWEEN TONY AND LOKI, MARVEL, SO DON'T DISAPPOINT ME.

I gotta say, the Hulk looks great. A lot different from both movies but much more realistic.

So last night I went to SYSTEM OF A DOWN's concert oh my Goooooooood!!! PERFECTION. Serj Tankian, how can you be so awesome, do tell me.

And then, after I came home I watched COLDPLAY's concert in Rock and Rio! FFFFFFFFFFF IF ONLY I COULD TELEPORT.

Anyway, yesterday was full of awesomesauce. ♥

On another note, I was very surprised to see this (in Spanish, sorry).

"There are a lot of awesome concerts happening in Brazil right now. But I don't think that that's artists preference for Brazil. Actually, what happens is that a lot of entertainment firms in Brazil started to invest in festivals (like the SWU and Rock in Rio - "back in Rio", lol) and individual shows lately. Take Avenged Sevenfold and System of a Down for example... Both bands where here for the first time."

Then I realized it was because Justin Bieber has 3 or so concerts in Brazil, because Justin Bieber was holding Our Flag, one that probably Justin Bieber's brazilian fans signed (curses) and sent to him. So I believe this is another one of those hate posts made by Justin Bieber's really scary ~~probably underage~~ rabid fangirls that can't accept he has a girlfriend that is not them.

News from the front

Ah, I thought I could be more active on the internet and actually grab a pencil and just draw, draw like the world was about to end or something, but lately a lot of stuff happened... I want to apologize for not replying to some friends before, ugh, that was a major slip on my part. Well, let's try to resume the tide waves that have been these last few months:

- First, I was hired by the publishing company where I did my internship. That means that now I have more benefits (:D), a decent salary (:D) and my free time is nearly none (D:). Since now I have to work more hours a day I'm going from work straight to college. Sleeping on buses is not comfortable, I reiterate.

- My uncle (mom's younger brother) died of cirrosis in June. He had drinking problems and he often fought with my mother and my grandpa because of that. Last time they spoke, father and son had an argument, and they weren't on good terms. Even so, my grandpa was really sad - it was his son, after all. My grandfather was fighting a prostate cancer for a few years now and, I don't know, but it seemed that after my uncle died it only made his reaction to the chemotherapy worse. He was really fragile and the treatment just wasn't working... So nearly two months later he passed away too. My mom doesn't show it, but she's taking it really hard. And since I can't be with her in the afternoons like before I get really anxious worrying about her...

- After my grandpa died I can't sleep before praying. And I... never did that. I don't know what happened, really... somehow I'm afraid and can't sleep without praying for him, or maybe I'm guilty because I didn't prayed before? Maybe I'm finally in contact with my inner Christian? Maybe I have these urges to meet grandpa and grandma again and because of that I feel like I have to pray and believe in what they taught me? I don't know... I'm confused. Sometimes I want to go out wandering around to find answers, to find myself, to just go out and travel around because I'm twenty-one and I want to know everything while I'm still young... Yet that feels wrong and I can't help but pray before laying down to sleep feeling my heart heavy with a lot of things I'm afraid of.

- Lately, I'm feeling very frustrated with a lot of things. College, my personal life... Somehow I feel like I'm losing a lot of things, sometimes I don't really care and think that I'm not losing that much anyway. I've lost my focus, and I can't remember what it was before this year started. Sometimes I distract myself and sometimes I get angry with me because damn, what am I doing with my life? Sometimes I don't know if I want to bitch about something or just stay quiet about (like I always do). I'm really fucked up right now. Fuck.

- I need to do something with my college life, seriously.

- I need to lose some weight, because damn.

That's basically it. I really need to sleep right now. Really.

So... In my humble opinion, Reborn gets better when they're not fighting. I mean, the fights in this arc were all a little... bleh. Next chapter we get to see the daily life of Varia. Which I hope is made on Mama Lussuria's point-of-view, narrating one day of his very unusual family. It would be full of awesome sparkles and you know it.

And UMA's are stalkers. I FEAR.

Warnings: Bad language. Me trying to be funny. And failing. Stuff like that.
Author's Note: IDEK OK. This is for the long forgotten writing meme, with the prompt B is for BATMAN (5980, KHR), but I fail so it's not exactly that? But hopefully my dearest alcedines will forgive me?
Summary:

One of the cons of being the right-hand man of the most powerful family in the mafia – not that he thought being Tenth’s right-hand man was something less than a blessing – was that, well, people got jealous. Gokudera was a target for the other families, so he had to do a double effort to watch his own back – Tenth always worried too much, but if it was for the Tenth, he couldn’t say no.

But of course, shit happens.

In that exact moment, gagged and tied to a chair by silver tape – fucking silver tape is his Armani – in a fancy hotel room of Las Vegas, unable to reach any of his boxes and with a fresh new bump in his head, he thought that, yes, shit definitely happens.

But of course that, with him, Lady Luck decided to let a whole truck of crap happen.

“What’s the matter, Vongola? Cat ate your tongue? C’mon, it would be so much easier if you just cooperated…” the man in front of him said, his voice muffled by the Storm Trooper mask he was using.

Yes. A Storm Trooper.

Apparently, there was a convention in the hotel, a big event. Comic fans, Sci-fi fans, Manga fans and what nots, all reunited in the great hall of the building. And apparently, the enemies they came to pursue – a dissident branch of the Tonarino - where there, as their insider said they were. He forgot, however, to mention that they would be dressed for the occasion.

As fucking Storm Troopers.

Gokudera shot the guy in front of him the dirtiest look he could muster, but that only gave him a punch on the face. He felt the plastic cut a new bruise at his brow and he breathed sharply.

God, how he hated cosplayers.

“Let him be, Brad… When the boss gets here he’ll talk, for sure.” And they laughed.

Stupid Storm Troopers laughed.

Soon, there was a knock at the door, a patterned rattling. When the guy opened…

…Well, shit. Darth Vader came through.

Fucking cosplayers.

“Boss! We were waiting for you!” Storm Trooper at the door announced.

“Some guys wanted to take pictures… I had to act it up.” Vader said before walking inside the room, stopping in front of Gokudera with his hands in each side of his seatbelt. “Hello, Vongola. I hope you’re enjoying your stay in America?”

Gokudera shot him a look that, he expected, clearly told “Fuck you”.

“You see, we think that your family isn’t ready to… explore these waters, you understand?” Vader continued, and Gokudera really wanted to blow something up because fuck, the guy even had the breathing coming from his mask “This is our territory. I don’t care what your boss in Italy says. This is my land, and I rule-”

And exactly when Gokudera rolled his eyes, thinking that nothing could get any more shittier or crazy, there is a crash and suddenly someone broke through the door with a small explosion and there where splinters of wood everywhere, smoke making his eyes burn and…

…Well, shit, Batman entered the room.

From them on Gokudera could only make the outlines of the two Storm Troopers scrambling to their feet and trying to aim while Batman knocked them down with his…

Sword.

“Haha, found you, Hayato!”

Gokudera felt his eye twitch and he felt the sudden urge to scream at Yamamoto, but then felt some movement behind him and he remembered that Darth Vader had yet to be defeated.

“Stop right there, son” and at the corner of his eye he saw the man reach behind him and grab his nape.

“Or… I’ll choke him.”

There was a whole minute full of silence and blinking before Yamamoto barked a laugh and lowered Shigure Kintoki.

“Just calm down, ok?”

Gokudera wanted to choke him.

But before he could register, Yamamoto’s eyes hardened and he made an upward arc with his sword, making something fly straightly to Vader’s face, making him wobble and top over the coffee table right behind him.

He could only stare dumbfounded at his three captors lying defeated on the floor – being a testimony of the most ridiculous battle in all history made you slightly appalled if not mortified… -, not noticing when Yamamoto cut the tape restraining his arms and legs.

“Sorry, but we don’t have much time… The others could be here any minute…” was the only warning he gave before taking a protesting Gokudera in his arms and carrying him bridal style out of the door.

And that, he decided, was the most embarrassing moment of his career as a Mafioso.
