This fan was scheduled for cleaning/balancing but after down day, levels stepped up showing BPFO harmonics as well as BPFI. The issue was an outer and inner race bearing fault.
KCF monitored in partnership with the customer over time. Ultimately, a replacement of the fan bearings and balance was needed.
