kyuhyun/seohyun
~300 words; canon
.( (they were on the same stage, after--fourfive?)Collapse )
By the time he was stepping down the stairs led to the almost-overcrowded backstage, he saw her in not-so usual costume. Maybe it was just the older maknae who didn't really use to the theme and concept of her group's newest song, but it was not so important, though.
There always be something different in her to distract him everytime they met (--when was the last time? Four-five months before this minute, he guessed?).
Sometimes it was her hairstyle, other time it was her smile, or petite tiara placed on the top of her crown (but this one had been too long to be reminisced; how long The Boys had been?), or the way she put her back of hand to stifle her laughter.
And when he spotted a lazuli as her main accessory on head and the jewelry was shining enough to pull both of his lips' corner into a curve of happiness; yes, yes, Cho Kyuhyun took a longer period to smile.
Seohyun's dress was not so wonderful, but he liked it anyway (--and not to mention her mellifluous voice when she was humming her part; exercising), but there always be a main spotlight on her.
The lazuli. Lazurite mineral as the main composition made his smile grow even more; blue--yeah, blue, his, his color.
Not making her a queen of Mesopotamia or princess of Egypt--as the gemstone had been the pride of those--, however, yes, yet he found that Seohyun had at her best place in his heart at this second (and the other, tic-toc, another one, tic-toc, forever).
He approached her and threw the same smile towards everyone, including her, and did high-fives also with Sunny and Sooyoung beside her, yet, who knew what was his heart telling and praising and adoring?
Not her.
