I met this guy tonight...I have met him before...At the bar I used to work at *here's his pick up line* "We hooked up one time before right?" Ummm...yeah...been married 18 years and I don't remember that but if it works for you! LOL!! (Greg was there a strange man in our bed?) "maybe I hooked up with your daughter?" Seriously???? NO!!!
He was so cute and adorable but such an asshole! I tried to give him a word of advice...he didn't want to hear what I had to say,
I'm 48...your 23...take heed....don't be a dick to girls or your gonna be spending your life alone! your cute but that will only get you so far dude! cute as can be but his personality destroyed everything!

I haven't posted in forever. I don't mean to let time go by so long but it just happens. I guess life happens.

Anyway, all is good. Just working my ass off. Still bartending. I have 2 jobs now. I am still at Sloopy's pub and I also work at the American Legion. That's a pretty good gig money wise. It's work and it pays the bills so I am greatful for that!

Summer is going by WAYYYYY to fast. The kids start back to school August 19th. That's only a month away! Kori's looking forward to it. The other 2 kids, not so much. Erin will be a sophomore, Kori will be in 7th and Adrian will be in 6th. Doesn't seem possible but it is!

I haven't taken many pics lately. my camera was in the shop for a bit. The strap piece that attatches to the camera broke.....again! I asked to have it cleaned and tuned up while it was in the shop but they failed to do that so I guess if I want that done I am going to have to send it in again which I am not happy about. I think I am going to sell it soon and get something different. I'm not sure but I think I may want to switch to a Nikon. The only thing is that I have a bunch of Canon lenses so i'll have to start all over again but I am just not really happy with my Canon anymore.

I did take my camera to the conservatory yesterday. Greg's neice was visiting us for the past couple weeks. She left this morning but I took some pics of the kids and butterflies and stuff. :)

I haven't posted pics in so long. I hope I remember! lol

This morning while Greg was taking Adrian to school, he came upon an awful accident that happened right in front of the school.
A crossing guard and 2nd grader were hit by a dump truck.
The crossing guard died and apparently the little boy is doing ok.
Supposedly, by standers who saw it happen said that the truck was going too fast. The driver said he didn't see them. Tell me.....How can you NOT see a lady in a bright orange vest holding a stop sign I want to know.
Then the driver didn't even know he had hit them until he heard the "thud".

It's AWFUL! I didn't know her personally but I have seen her at the cross walk often.
We have major construction going on here in our area so I am surprised that something like this hasn't happened before now. Those friggin trucks drive like maniacs!

Yesterday while I was going to pick Kori up from school, I slowed down to 20 MPH The guy in front of me just cruised through the zone like there was no tomorrow and the car behind me was right on my ass like I was hindering him. *shakes head*
It's So sad that it takes such a tragic event to happen to open up eyes.

I feel so bad for all those little kids and parents who were standing outside the school that witnessed that.

I brought my laptop in to work on some pics I shot of a band last weekend and low and behold, some idiot left his wireless unsecure and so here I am. *Evil Grins*
It definitely will make the night go by faster since I am all by myself here. It sucks because I am not making any money but the quietness is nice too.

Anyway, I shot that wedding about 3 weeks ago and I thought i'd share the album with you. I actually had this printed up for them. Hopefully they will like it. If not, oh well I guess.

I'm getting excited to do Lew & Ellen's wedding in a few weeks. That should be fun plus the fact that I haven't seen Lew in forever so it will be nice to see them.

Jeesh.....Here it is...4:00 in the AM and I am wide awake. Having a night job lie this sucks sometimes but I do love my job so I shouldn't complain I guess. I just have to realize that it's anight job and once I get off of work (home around 3) that I can't just come home and go to bed...I have to unwind a little so here I am. *sighs*

The job is going great and now since football has started it's great!

Saturday college ball is proving to be great for work. The tips are GREAT but I don't have a minute to watch any of the game. I just hear the cheers when we get touchdowns and look at a glance at the re-play.
Oh well it's all good. The money is good so I can't complain.
Since the OSU college games aren't televised on local TV the bar gets packed. Usually standing room only so it's really BUSY! Again...not complaing!

I've done really well this week and since I have some usuals that really like me, they come in on the nights I work and they are very generous on their tips so that's really nice. ...and it's really great to hear them tell me what a great bartender and person I am! :) It's even better when they tell my boss! :)
Bartending has it's pros and cons but usually the good out weighs the bad!
Customers are your best friends when your serving them but when you cut them off they are your worst enemies! lol
It's a fun job tho and I am blessed that I have met so many great people and genuinly good friends. Thats a good thing since I really haven't met any friends here since I have moved to Ohio. I had a few but I really have met some awesome people that truly care about me. That's a great feeling.

Kids are good. Erin is a freshman this year which blows my mind. I don't feel like I am old enough to have a kid in highschool. Kori is doing well. Ya know...11 going on 21! She's into everything and such a drama queen at times! Adrian is Adrian....He is doing soccer this season and he scored his first goal last week. I missed it of course cuz of work but I was very proud of him none of the less! :)

Greg is doing well! He took on a second job! He delivers pizza for Dominos! Loves it. He works with some great people and does really good tip wise as well! Plus we get free food! That's always a plus!

Photography.....It's going good but I don't get out much to shoot for myself. I'm shooting bands and they are pay jobs so that good.

Well...That's about it for now I guss!

Guess I will try to sleep.

I had an engagement shoot yesterday evening.

The country club is beautiful and I am looking forward to doing the wedding in August.

Things are going well. Been busy as usual but I can't complain. Looking forward to taking some time off at the end of the month. We plan on going to Jersey to see our friends. Won't be able to do much of anything tho but hang out at the pool. That sounds pretty good to me. :)

Today was the last day of school. So I officially have a daughter in highschool *shudders*, a daughter in 6th grade and a son who is in 5th grade. FREAKS ME OUT!! They all did really good this year tho! I'm proud of all of them. :) I can't believe how much time is flying tho. I feel happy and sad all at the same time.

I'm looking forward to summer tho.

I've been working CRAZY hours lately at the bar. One of the girls I work with has major back problems so her and I have switched hours so now I have all nights which I am very happy about. :) So I do Wednesday nights and Thursday nights....Saturday and sunday nights...which means more money which we really need so all is good.

Let's see.....what else is new?.....I have an engagement shoot Monday night at a nice country club. Pray for no rain. Then I am doing their wedding in august.
Haven't had to any band shoots lately. I haven't promoted myself much lately because because I haven't had any time.

All in all everything is good.....busy but good! :)

Happy Mothers day to all you Mothas!!!!!

I have had a nice day!

I didn't have to work today and was a HUGE plus!

Greg made me a great breakfast and the kids have been good all day...(so far!)
Kori got me a pedicure kit and a cute thing she made in school and the other kids gave me nice cards.

Greg got me this for mothers day! :)

He really shouldn't have but I have been wanting both for a LONG time and the price was right. Normally the frame goes for $130 alone and the camera goes for &179 so it was a great deal. I've been wanting a small camera that I can throw into my purse or my pocket and i've wanted a digital frame for forever but they have been to expensive to justify getting one. .... so it was the perfect gift! I'm thirlled with both! :)
Now I need to start shooting again. :)

and we have dinner reservations at 8:00 pm for here. :) YUM!!!! I love this place. They have great food! I don't get to eat seafood or fish often so when it was my choice tonight I chose this place.

I went to the bar last night with one of my friend. Friggin people piss me off tho. Fights broke out. We left tho before I was involved in anything because I am always trying to be the peace maker. Can't reason with drunken assholes tho and I need to realize that and just stay out of shit.
I did have a good time tho so it's all good.

Well anyway....I gotta go shower and get ready for dinner.

So Last Christmas we went to a school funtion and I won a poiensetta.....Actually I pretty much win one every year lol :) ...anyway, I try to keep it alive as long as possible. Some years I'm not so successful but this year my plant is thriving! YAY!

Greg threw it away a few weeks ago because he's hell bent on that it's dying and it's not gonna make it. I found it in the trash and resued it. lol ....with a few stable stems, I am getting it back!

Seriuosly, you should see it. :) It's growing big!

So my question is....do you throw away your poinsetta's right after the holidays or do you see how long you keep them?

*What a sad question but inquiring minds wanna know!*

Been busy working as usual and then this weekend I had a shoot at the state house in downtown Columbus. I shot the Westerville symphony. It was nice. Dinner was provided and I got to rub elbows with the big wigs! lol! I have no clue who these people were but I was told there were senate/political people (not that I really care about that) All I know that there were a lot of tight, stuffy people. It was a nice night out tho and a little culture never hurt anyone.

Today I must finish housecleaning and go food shopping. We have NOTHING to eat!

I've been on a movie kick whenever I can squeeze one in. We rented De'jaVu with Denzel Washington. LOVED it!! I really loved the concept even tho it's kind of far fetched but I thought the plot was great!
I've also been hooked on Planet Earth. If you haven't seen it you MUST! The photography and videography is absolutely STUNNING! Seriously....if you get a chance you have to watch!

Well and on that note I had better get busy so I can get my butt out of here and get stuff done.

Anyway, Thought i'd go ahead and post the rest of the cam captures from last night

I wish I had a better resolution cam.....or could take my own shots with my canon. I need to find a photographer in the area and get some nice shots. I'm sure Greg would like that! :D

There's a few more over in my LJ picture folder in the Misc. file.

Went to the dentist this morning and got my last filling and now I am DONE! All I have left to get is the partial but he said that I really don't need it right away and that I can wait til whenever so.....

I've really enjoyed these last few days off. It's back to work for me tonight. Oh well....such is life.

I think I shall go relax a little while I can.

I just got home from work and the bar was SOOOOO crazy busy! :) YAY! I did really good in tips but it all goes to bills.

:( Oh well....that's a good thing I guess.

Anyway.....About that girl last week.....

So the police report....or so I was told about it....

Apparently she went out partying with some girl a few weeks ago..dropped the girl off at her house then she went home...the girl has been missing for a week now! :/ Nice huh? I dunno all the details but I guess she was handcuffed but then released after questioning.
The girl who is missing...her work reported her because she hasn't showed up to work in a week and I guess it's not like her to not call in.

I dunno............... lol all I know is that I ain't EVER going there again!

Well I guess I better go to bed so I can get up and do it ALL again tomorrow. *sighs*

I'm really not complaining.....I'm greatful to have this job! I really do love it! :)

I so wanted to take some "NICE" pics of myself tomorrow night (to show you all the progress...with my hair length and the weight loss, and all) but then I realized I have a band coming over for promos... Waaaaa :( ....ahh..That's all good...it's money..... but then I was thinking...I'll take pics this week/end YAY!! .....hmmmmmm then again...ll I was just thinking......

I work tonight til 2:30am....tomorrow I have to get up and go in at 10:30 am..work...until 6 pm then the band comes t the house and does the shoot at 7:30.... then I work Friday night for a fellow bartender...then I work Satur"day" ( my usual shift)....have to go to Erin's play Saturday night (which I am looking forward to!! ) then I work Sun"day" (my usual shift) then I am suppose to work for another bartender whos' in africa right now Monday night (i'd love to have gone with him with my camera!).....oohhh wait..did I mention I worked for him this past monday???? LOL!! (see previous post *Crazy day*)...... My days are Sllllluururuing into each other! LMAO!!!

GOOD LORD!!!!! Can I have a minute to myself? Ya think?....Dat'd be nice! lLMAO!!!!!!!!!...and wishing

I'm working out again! YEAH!! Billy Blanks TaeBo is a good thing and I just bought today, the elasticss all his DVD's. $20 at walmart! Man.....I'm gonna be hurting tomorrow!!! I did a gazillion situps! Not to mention everything else on top of that!
But I feel GOOD! *smiles*
