I’m a mom of two and have lived in South Salem for 7 years. I have been searching for a good hyper-local calendar & list of things to do forever. Anything to help me keep track of what’s going on, reccos on where to go, and real, authentic advice from local parents on whether it’s worth our time — so I can better plan our weekends.
It didn’t exist, so I just made my own. And because I hate gate-keeping and love building community, I made The Plan and shared it with all my friends.
Before The Plan, I had things saved everywhere:

What areas does The Plan cover?
I curate family-friendly events and things-to-do in the hamlets of Vista, Lewisboro, and South Salem, as well as North Salem, Katonah, Ridgefield, Pound Ridge, Bedford, New Canaan and Mt. Kisco. Occasionally I'll throw in some must-see things in the river towns like Tarrytown or Sleepy Hollow.
Oh, and my kids are young, so you won't see any late-night concerts or, like, fancy whiskey tasting events on here. Message me if you have an event suggestion!
What’s my plan?
My plan is to keep giving you good, authentic recommendations every week to help you and your family plan better weekends around here.
I’d love to just give everything away for free, but to do that, I’d have to spend my time chasing after advertising dollars. (Which is exactly what I don’t want to do.)
