As an arts writer, editor, and curator, I thrive on the power of storytelling to introduce art to new audiences, bridge communities, and foster collaboration. I work semi-nomadically, based some of the time in the Upper Midwest and the rest of the time on the road.

I ran the contemporary arts curatorial platform Young Space from 2014 to 2025. I currently run an online magazine called Dovetail, which emphasizes pathways between visual art and place. I also occasionally curate exhibitions independently in collaboration with galleries and artist-run initiatives.

I am currently the lead contributing editor for Colossal. My writing has also appeared in Ceramics Monthly, Selvedge Magazine, and Arts Midwest’s Creativity News Desk.
