I came up with a bunch of out-there/not-so-out-there theories about the events of last night's Doctor Who, so I thought I'd share them with you.

I was hanging up my new HP Lego poster when I noticed a weird thing about it that didn't match up with the cover of the game. At first I thought I'd done something to the poster, but when I Google'd other images of the poster, they had this same weird thing on them.

Taking a quick study break to share this with you:

I’m probably reading waaaayyyyyy too much into this, or just have Harry Potter on the brain (the latter is definitely true regardless), but we were discussing gothic literature today in my Romantic Literature class, namely two rival authors from the late 1700s. Their names?

Ann Radcliffe and Matthew Lewis.

For those who don't have HP on the brain, in the movies Harry Potter is played by Dan Radcliffe, and Neville Longbottom (also known as "The Chosen 1b") is played by Matthew Lewis.

Coincidence?

Well yes, but it's neat nonetheless. Though from what I understand, they weren't each other's only rival or even their main rival. But it was still interesting; also very weird to hear about how Matthew Lewis wrote a notoriously smutty book that formed the basis for Britain's pornography laws while unintentionally picturing Neville Longbottom.

Also, in the movie Becoming Jane, Ann Radcliffe is played by Helen McCrory, who plays Narcissa Malfoy in the HP movies (it also starts Julie "Molly Weasley" Walters and Maggie "Professor McGonagall" Smith).

Got my HP tix, my Hufflepuff scarf and Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans ready to go...November 19th can't come soon enough!

Can someone explain to me these new (apparent) spambots who, after posting comments that actually pertain to the post in question, will include a link to a completely random website about Jessica Simpson's hair extensions or 1 800 Flowers. Are these actual bots, should I report them? Like I said, they're actually posting fairly long and thought out comments regarding my manips, so I'm just confused.

Usually the spam I get contains a vague comment like "cool post u should check out this site [insert spam link here]" or doesn't even contain a link but instead just a random Harry Potter-esque comment like "And so he could look at Lily s? eyes one last time :(".

I actually asked one of the potential spammers why they included a link in their comment, but I haven't recieved a reply yet.
