Despite generating significant buzz with the recent reveal of its star-studded cast and Director Yuriyan Retriever achieving four awards, the actual content of the film has remained largely under wraps.
Now, the veil of mystery has finally been lifted, revealing the story within.
“The person I loved, loved someone else.”
Beginning with the ache of a fleeting love that many hold somewhere in their hearts, the story plummets into the “craziest” revenge tragedy in the history of romance films, accelerating rapidly toward its conclusion. With overwhelming imagery where “love” and “madness” swirl together in an avalanche, the genre shifts wildly—from horror to romance to sheer human terror.
The film features a succession of impactful scenes with lines that might (scarily) resonate with viewers: Sara Minami transforms from a gentle smile to writhing in jealousy, screaming, “I’m way cuter than her!” while Akari Takaishi shows a powerful expression, insisting, “But I’m supposed to be the only one who likes him!”
Contrasting with the expressions of madness shown by Aoi Yamada and Rena Tanaka, the sight of the male cast members—Oshiro Maeda, Fuku Suzuki, and Joe Kujo—freezing in terror is equally striking. The presence of the mysterious spirit medium, played by Takumi Saitoh, also leaves a strong impact.
And then, there is the “mysterious existence” that drives the story further into madness and deepens the fear decisively—”Mag Mag”.

Furthermore, released alongside the trailer is the shockingly impactful main poster visual, featuring a silhouette of countless hearts combined with a woman planting a hot, intense kiss on a vivid turquoise green eyeball.
Her pitch-black eyes look as if they could suck you in if you let your guard down, accompanied by disheveled long hair, bright red nail polish, and lips. Is this woman actually “Mag Mag”? And what on earth is the meaning of the eyeball placed in her mouth?
