An operating studio for software, media, and execution systems.

Released and in-progress systems across protocol design, execution tooling, local-first media infrastructure, and developer operations.

What We Do

Justyn Clark Network designs and operates durable systems across software, automation, audio, and developer tooling. The emphasis is on released tools that stay useful and in-progress systems that are being hardened for long-term use.

How We Think

Structure supports creativity. Clear constraints reduce waste. Protocols, CLIs, and production systems should be inspectable, repeatable, and maintainable rather than dependent on vibes or fragile context.

Where This Leads

The current project set reflects one operating model: ship what is ready, keep active builds honest about their maturity, and show progress through real artifacts instead of positioning language.

Current Projects

Active and in-progress systems across the JCN ecosystem.

  • SMALL Protocol. Formal state protocol for AI-assisted work that keeps intent, constraints, plan, progress, and handoff durable, auditable, and resumable. (released)
  • Loopexec. Bounded execution CLI for running deterministic work loops against SMALL-governed repositories with explicit checkpoints and validation. (in progress)
  • Pai. Primary front-door operating assistant and operator shell for the Pi-native JCN AI stack, combining chat, routing, memory, approvals, escalation, and workflow entry into one human-led surface. (in progress)
  • Musketeer. Public trio topology pack for governed work, packaging role-separated originator, examiner, and executor flows as one reusable operating pattern. (released)
  • Devports. Local development ports CLI for tracking services, launching apps, inspecting listeners, and sharing LAN-friendly URLs. (released)
  • Reaper CLI. CLI-first control plane for REAPER with canonical corpus ingestion, bounded live-session mutations, and verification-oriented workflows. (in progress)
  • Wakeplane. Durable scheduling control plane for long-running systems with explicit schedules, policies, executors, and run recording. (released)
  • Thread-Based Engineering. Deterministic execution engine for policy-gated, evidence-driven agent work with replayable outcomes. (released)
  • Boardroom. Executive deliberation pack for the Pi-native operator stack, turning structured briefs into board debate, tradeoffs, and final decision memos. (released)
  • JCN DAW. Native macOS DAW with deterministic session state, command-only mutation, and a real-time-conscious audio engine baseline. (in progress)
