Hello! Remember me? Probably not. I apologize for disappearing over a month, but college has been keeping me super super busy!

My classes are alright, but so much work and exams ):
The weekend after my first week of class, I went to Disneyland and California's Adventures! It was super fun (: My family and I are planning to go to Disneyland again in December since we've never been during that time of year. Plus, they decorate the park for Christmas! Exciting!

Anyways, I'm kind of keeping up with some shows, but as I get busier, I watch less and what I have to watch just piles up. Some quick thoughts on the new shows I've been watching:
Revenge: Definitely my favorite out of all new fall shows. It's so good and I love the storyline!
Hart of Dixie: I was going to watch this show even if it sucked or whatever because I love Rachel Bilson! I'm glad it was better than what everyone expected it to be like. Bluebell is like the new Stars Hollow. It has that old WB show vibe, which I love (:
Ringer: This show was a bit disappointing at first, but after the 3rd episode, things started to pick up and shit got real. Hopefully, it continues to get better!
Terra Nova: The first hour of the pilot was a bit dull, but there are dinosaurs! It's pretty awesome :D

Made in Photoshop CS2, involves selective coloring. Not translatable.

I really love using this coloring, especially on Grey's Anatomy screencaps. This is the same coloring I used in this batch numbers 003-005 and 023-045.

01. Crop and/or resize your image to 100x100.
02. Duplicate your base and set it to Screen 100%.
(You may need to come back later and change the opacity if it's too bright.)
03. Create a new Selective Color layer. (Image>>Adjustments>>Selective Color)
REDS
Cyan: -100
Magenta: 0
Yellow: 100
Black: 0

YELLOWS
Cyan: -100
Magenta: 0
Yellow: 100
Black: 0

BLUES
Cyan: 100
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -100
Black: 0

NEUTRALS
Cyan: 10
Magenta: 0
Yellow: -10

04. Create a new Hue/Saturation layer. (Image>>Adjustments>>Hue/Saturation)

I've been trying to figure out a better way to brighten dark images without using curves or screened layers because I didn't like how they ended up. While trying to think of a new technique, I find this technique to be better than using curves or screened layers.

01. Crop, resize, sharpen your image, or whatever you do to prep it.
02. Create a new layer and fill the layer with #ffffff at Softlight 100%

03. Make a new Brightness/Contrast adjustment layer.
PSP users: Layers>>New Adjustment Layer>>Brightness/Contrast
PS users: Image>>Adjustments>>Brightness/Contrast
Set the contrast to 15 or adjust it however you like until you're satisfied.

02. Duplicate the base and set it to Screen 100%, do this as many time as you need. I duplicated the base twice and set them both to screen.
03. Create a new layer and fill it with #b2d4ee at Burn 100%.(You may need to adjust the opacity, if it ends up too dark)

04. Next, create a new Hue/Saturation adjustment layer and set the saturation to 40.

And then you're all done and you should get:
