Tomatillo
My favorite garden treat

Green And bursting, Your papery shell is Gaping From the rapid Growth Of your Girth. Expanding too hungrily To be contained In what once encompassed you. You have surpassed The expected circumference For what could be withstood. Engorged to the fullest, You shatter the boundaries, And with them, Shatter the ideas That were held for your form: What you could have been, For how plump you could become. Oh Tomatillo, You have defied old restraints And swelled beyond belief. You are now Bulging. No, Throbbing To greet the world. To be touched By the sun. To come out Of that shell. To be devoured By me. And so I will, Tomatillo, Take your full Juicy Hefty Enormity Into me. Stretching endlessly, To receive you. Pulling back your prepuce To greet you. As you burst through your seams To greet me. Through My mouth My throat My insides. Tomatillo, You glide, Down and in, Elated in expansion. Together we explore What happens When we stretch Fully Beyond expectation.
Happy Fall, my friends! Hope your tomatillos (and all your other endeavors) are bursting with plumpness as well. :)
