Attention all female nations!

Thanks to the Christmas event, we now know that the women actually do have their own little end of year meet ups after you know...years of speculation and headcanon. According to the strip it's a time for them to reflect back upon the past year, have some quality girl time, and possibly get stuff done that wouldn't normally get done at a normal world meeting.

Keeping in line with the rules set up way back when for the normal meetings (Whatever happened to those?) The countries are allowed to bring one or two close non-country ladyfriends along as their own personal guests if they so choose. This is also why I'm posting this now to give people time to talk it over with the other muns.

Desecration of the Holy Innocents

Now that Caster has teamed up with his new Master, Oichi, he'll be starting a campaign of atrocities every now and then across Mayfield; however, he will specifically be targeting a particular location that has been on his mind for a good while: the Church.

On January 8th, a Sunday, he will place Oichi in the Church during a session. The sounds of a pipe organ coming from outside interrupts the sermon and Oichi begins singing their decadent "hymn", absolutely ruining the moment.

It's a part of Caster's summoning ritual. All the drones among the congregation burst and explode into sea demons beginning his desecration on holy grounds in the most spectacular way possible. Caster barges in and begins singing along with Oichi before giving his own tl;dr sermon of praise and condemnation against his hated God.

I know that there is a barrier in place and it would definitely affect Caster's sea demons negatively. They aren't particularly high-level demons, so they'll suffer, but Oichi is more or less on the ranks of a strong demon. As people resist against the duo, Caster will be strengthening his Master resulting in a grueling clash.

Everything that happens here will be limited to a single log and last for only that day. The Church will be invaded from within and torn apart until somebody stops them. I have Ciel-mun and Oichi-mun both a part of this and so far, the involved parties will be Caster, Ciel, and Oichi, but the log itself will be open to the everybody else as well.

So, any chance people would have their muses be interested in taking back the Church?

Sup Mayfielders! So if we're plurk frens, you might already know about this, but the IC secret santa inspired me to whip up an OOC secret santa for us! Due to our proximity to christmas, I'm thinking that the actual due date probably won't be until after christmas, maybe around new years, but it should be fun all the same!

Anyway, we've got a lot of people in this here wonderful town, from all over the place, so to ensure anyone who wants to can participate, we're going to restrict this to gifts that can be sent over the internet! This will primarily apply to things like fic, art, and graphics, but if you can't think of anything to gift along those lines, we can work in things like paid time and tokens for those who still want to participate.

So! Comments are screened for ~*secrecy*~ and stuff, but if you have questions or notice any problems let me know here. Deadline for signups is December 17th and I will send out assignments in the days that follow.

Alright, Mayfield!

So: I was thinking that a good way to gain CR is by promoting a Secret Santa in which everyone will be randomized to a person and give them a present by Christmas! Of course, if an event occurs during Christmas, the presents will be postponed to post-Christmas, after the event is over!

So, comment away if you want your characters to sign up, and I'll randomize you by Friday, December 9th!

It's app time again, so! If you don't have any housing plans and would like to make some, have this meme.

The goal of this meme is to take some of the housing decision-making off of Plurk and AIM and bring it more into the community, allowing expanded opportunities for CR and house combinations that may not have been possible without a meme facilitating contact between two players who might not have known each other. Welp, the Turkey feast is over, so that means the Holiday season officially begins (because here in the 1950's no one celebrates the December holidays until after Thanksgiving. Right? Right.). Now, surely Mayfieldians, you could use some cool relief from that radiation overdose, right?--never mind the flesh-eating cannibals if they got to you first before the radiation did... But the days in our fair town are growing colder and colder as we approach the Holiday Season, and nothing accents the season and gets everyone in a jolly mood like snow!

In fact on Tuesday, December 6th, 195X, you will wake up to snow. Everywhere. Like, an unexpected tremendous amount of snow from overnight. So much that all Mayfield schools and businesses are closed for the day!

You all will get a free day of playing in the snow, making snow angels, making snow men, going sledding, snowboarding off Makeout Mountain (potentially life-threatening!!), ice skating in the outdoor rink at the Rec Center (the Rec Center has an outdoor ice skating rink? It does now!), or staying indoors getting cozy with a mug of hot chocolate. Or if you are an industrious member of our community you could try to get to work, I guess, no one's stopping you, just have fun walking most of the way there because your car can't drive through all of that snow.

In addition, John Doe Park will be the setting for a gigantic snowball fight. No one knows how it started but anyone walking near or through the Park can expect a face full of snow! The whole town is invited! Except those icky drones. They're too busy being productive members of society and salting their sidewalks.

So grab your snow pants, jackets, boots, mittens, hats and scarves and get out there and enjoy the wild ~~blue~~ white yonder! It's a Magical World! Better make it last, too! The snow trucks are out in full force, and it sounds like they'll get the roads clear by Wednesday December 7th, so don't waste this day!

Notes:

This is a player-driven, mod-approved event. Yes, this is real.
