Life

I am a thinker and one idea that I continue to ponder each day has spawned from a thought-provoking conversation during an interview with Tim Mackie of The Bible Project. In response to a question about how we frame our life with Jesus in our day-to-day, Tim Mackie highlighted the ongoing battle we face: the temptation to do what is best for ourselves and redefine good and evil according to our own convenience, comfort, and benefit – often at the expense of those around us.

This quote has stayed with me because it speaks to a fundamental human struggle. Many of our problems are self-inflicted, causing the destruction that we lament. The challenge lies in recognizing the roles we play and the beings we partner with (intentionally or unintentionally) that shape our understanding of what is “good.”

Work

After seven great years at GoDaddy on the WordPress Experience team, I’m actively looking for my next opportunity as a Principal Software Engineer. I’m especially drawn to roles where I can own real outcomes, help set technical direction, and collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams.
