My first tutorial

This is my first tutorial...so be nice. lol.
Going from this to this-
Made with PSPX
1. Crop base to 100X100, prep it however. (I used High Pass Sharpening set on Overlay at a 152 radius, strength 52)
2.Then I went to Adjust>Brightness and Contrast>Histogram Adjustment and played around with the settings...these are mine, but you may have to change them. Luminace Settings Color Settings
3.Make a new layer and fill with #fef616 set to Burn at 62%
4. Duplicate the base set to Screen at 50%
5. Make a new layer, fill with #fd3593 set to Soft Light 100%
6. Make a new layer, fill with #000040 set to Exclusion at 46%
7. Make a new layer, fill with #0ed3dc set to Burn at 67%
8. Duplicate base and set to Screen at 100%
9. For the light effect I went to the base layer and used Effects>Illumination Effects>Sunburst set at these settings

And a cheapo Conan signature. Didn't spend much time on this one.

BTW...Jimmy Fallon's Pepsi commercial is finally airing. Look for it on TV or on YouTube.

Recently I've been writing all the time in my blog on the infamous myspace...how many times did I write is this thing like twice? (versus 50 something over there.) But I recently learned that I can access this and school. (And you can't do that with myspace.) So this will be fairly short..just wanted to say hello..and let you people know where I've been. Today I'm Mad About....

I don't like the fact that some celebrities are way overrated...like Jessica Simpson or Paris Hilton. What really makes me mad is the fact that jimmy fallon hosted the movie awards, but instead of there being a lot of pictures of him there were more of jessica simpson or tom cruise. Tom Cruise...another person I don't like..I'm not really sure why-he just gets on my nerves!!!! I don't like the whole scientologist thing. Which makes me also not like John Travolta very well- some of his movies are cool-GREASE i luv that movie and Look Who's Talkin. BTW just a closing thought for today...JIMMY FALLON IS HOT HOT HOT HOT.

Okay so i know i won't keep this up...but hey- i can try..i'm pretty good with my real journal i haven't missed a day in it since April 30th..so yay me..or whatever. I guess i should tell you what i'm into right now- so here it goes. I totally love saturday night live and jimmy fallon (hottie!!) i miss him on there- but I have survived a year so I guess I'm o.k. (or not-lol) I also like American idol and i wish Constantine Maroulis had won- but he didn't..BIG suprise-that show is rigged (don't believe me? visit http://www.votefortheworst.com/scandal.html it will blow your mind-lol not actually.)And yes I am totally freaked out by those Burger King commercials where that King just pops up out of no where..I always imagine the guy in that suit being a creepy perv or something..and one day he's just gonna pop out of no where and look in my window and try to trick me into thinking it's a Burger King commercial...but he can't fool me-that perv. I hope one day he pops up and tries to give someone one of those unhealthy omlet mega sandwiches (or whatever they're called) and someone just whaps him over the head. if he was real that would be funny. if he was really a king he'd probably have that person beheaded (also if he was a real king he'd have a funky name-Burger King)I think that those Colonial Penn commercials (the insurance commercial with the old black couple talking about saving pennies..or something) are funny because that man that comes on there in between talks funny ("and sat-US-fac-SHAWN is gua-RAWN-teed!!")I am so glad those Hootie cowboy commercials have stopped airing ("I like the tendercrisp bacon cheddar ranch..." AHHHH!!!) I also don't like Kenny G. My fave bands are Good Charlotte and the Killers.
