My birthday this year was a little different from usual.
Our family just took a 7-hour drive home from a week away in the Garden Route town of Plettenberg Bay. The weather was weirdly pleasant for the middle of June, so we enjoyed a lovely week of outdoor activities.
In addition to celebrating another year around the sun, this year I’m also celebrating the recent launch of the WordPress Beginner Developer Learning Pathway.
This is the first of four developer-focused courses we’re building for Learn.WordPress.org, and I’m really happy it’s out there. It contains over 6 hours of video lessons, covering all the foundational knowledge a new WordPress developer should know.
For his 40th birthday, Matt Mullenweg asked folks to blog. For my birthday, I’d like you to share the course with someone you think would benefit from it or consider taking it yourself.
